Elliot smiled at him, "Why wouldn't I, Jacob?" She leaned over and gave him a kiss, "I love you. So much."

She laid back down beside him, still holding his hand, "I don't think it is possible for anyone to love anything more that I love you," She laughed a little and curled up close to him, "But... I'm not sure I'm going to be able to share a bed while you're recovering... What if I nudge your leg in my sleep?"

Jacob shrugged at the question, "you would feel me tense up in my sleep then relax." He kissed her back, as he started relaxing, as the pain meds started to kick in. He took a deep breath, "and plus you don't move much in your sleep you stay in the same position as long as your head is on my shoulder or chest then you don't move."

Elliot laughed and shook her head, "You seem quite against the thought of me not sharing a bed with you."

She sighed and nodded, "Fine. I stay... but if I hurt you at all in the night, I'm out, okay? I don't want to put you through any more pain."

She smiled and placed her head on his chest as he mentioned, closing her eyes, "How many nights have you watched me sleep to know I don't move much in it?"

Jacob smiled a bit, "a few nights on the nights I can't sleep it helps me just to stay calm when I'm panicking in middle of the night from the nightmares I wake up from." He looked at her, as he put his arm around her. "Usually just watching you sleep helps me stay calm helps me think that we can survive this."

Elliot laughed and snuggled into him, "I'm glad I can have that effect on you."

She rested her arm against his torso and sighed, "I wish I could help with the nightmares...." She looked up at him and gave him a small smile, "Helping after them I guess is good enough."

She yawned, "I'm going to bet you only manage a day in the bed before you get restless."

Jacob laughed a little, "I know I can't go for a few days in bed. But I know I have to stay in bed, but I need stuff here to keep me busy in order to keep me in the bed. I probably know one thing though that would be you, to keep me in the bed at least that'll work."

Jacob looked at her, "you will be able to keep me in bed I know that, just from you lying here with me I don't want to get out of the bed." He stroked through Elliot's hair he wasn't even thinking about it. The pain in his leg, started to dull a bit with the pain meds kicking in.

She moved up and kissed him before rolling out of the bed, "I'm going to grab you something you eat. You must be starving," She walked over to the door and stopped, her hand on the handle, "Any requests?"

"Okay," Elliot said as she left the room. She walked into the kitchen and started searching. It seemed that someone asked the doctor and mechanic to bring some food as the things in the cupboard weren't covered in dust. She grabbed some oats and made Jacob porridge. She walked back to the room with two bowls. She smiled at him and placed them on the nightstand. Once her hands were free, she helped him sit up and placed the pillows under him.

She kissed his cheek before handing him the bowl and grabbing her own, "There you are."

He nodded toward Elliot, as he grabbed the bowl and started eating. He was at least glad to not feel the pain anymore. As he ate he heard Kyle pull up into the drive way, he wondered where his either had been but he didn't really care right now.

Elliot looked over to the window as Kyle pulled up. Her eyebrows knitted together, where did he go? She didn't ponder long, deciding he must have been returning the doctor and mechanic to whatever safe house they had found. She leaned on Jacob's shoulder and nibbled at her porridge, "How are you feeling now? The meds should be working."

Jacob looked at her, "yah I'm better since the meds kicked in. I'm going to be stuck in bed aren't I?" He asked, he wasn't really excited to stay in bed for a few weeks but he knew he would have to do it if he wanted to be back on his feet.

Elliot looked at him and laughed, "Yes, of course you are! The meds don't heal you, they just help you tolerate the pain. And in a couple weeks you can run around like the maniac you are. After a week or two, we can even move you to the living room, so that you don't have to stay cooped up in here."

She kissed him, "But yes, you are stuck here on your butt until further notice."

Jacob let's out a sigh, "well then I don't know if I can stay in bed for that long." He put his arm around her, "I don't even think you can keep me in the bed for that long, Ellie it's gonna be hard to stay still. I don't know if I can stay still that long."

She kissed him, "Sometimes, you need a little tough love."

Jacob could only laugh, "he won't come near me as long as I have something near by to hit him with, he made that mistake a few years ago trying that exact thing on me and he got hit in the head with a rubber sucky then a thick dictionary which reminds me where is it?" He started looking around for the book.

Elliot sat up and grabbed Jacob's hands, preventing him from doing any kind of searching. She smiled softly at him, "That might be so. But I have the power of medication that can both sedate and knock you right out. If you force my hand, you will be tied to this bed. With nothing to throw at your brother, simple as that."

Jacob only smiled back at her, "I was only joking and I knew you would grab my hands so then I could do this." He pulled her down and kissed her, his hand going to the middle of her back and the other in her hair as he kissed her.
