It will take less time if people accept that the current system disincentivises both: A) Quality fighting, and B) Meaningful competition.
You should be punished for losing to a lower ranked player, and you should be rewarded for beating a higher ranked player. If there is no risk vs. reward, the entire purpose of the ranked system is null.
The primary issue I have is a lack of clarification on a lot of abilities that are largely conceptual. You have to be very objective with your terms when describing abilities in order to ensure that they cannot be misinterpreted.

I certainly understand the appeal of a Mythos, but my own has... 20 characters at the most? Anything beyond that seems like it would be excessive.
I find that the smaller amount for a Mythos allows you to really focus on identies and ties to the plot, and it creates a series of well-rounded characters that are thoroughly more interesting than if such was not the case.
