Current Now that I have given up video games I should have a lot more time to RP now. I'm sure that I'm not the first person to have declared this but hopefully I won't be the last.

To all those who are awaiting a post from me I'm sorry. I have no excuses. I expect the very best from myself and frankly that kind of pressure brings about some major procrastination.

Alright, no more screwing around. I have to get started on my various projects. I can't let another week go by with nothing done. Lady France awaits and I'm not getting any younger.

I guess this is where I explain myself.

All I can say is that my existence is an endless void occasionally interrupted by passing flashes of light.
Interlaced with a little randomness here and there to, ya know, keep things interesting.

@RhythmloidI gots to go to bed. It's so late and I do need my beauty sleep. I will post tomorrow. Remember to do that exercise if you're ever feeling bored and impatient. It's relevant and fun! n_n

Or not, just an odd little idea of mine. ~_~
I'm really glad you're enjoying the story so far. While you wait for my post though, here's a little exercise you can do.

Consider the various ways one can show affection for someone else with various levels of subtlety. Also consider the many different scenarios one could use each of these and their possible effectiveness. Note that subtlety employs many forms of simile and metaphor. It's up to you to decide which ones to use in the most effective manner.

Just something to think about. No need to write anything.

Do you have an exercise for me? 0_o
@RhythmloidOh, and sorry about not letting your character but in to the conversation. I thought she would've been to shy to say anything.
@Rhythmloid Well as they say, the night is young.
@RhythmloidI'll take that as a compliment n_n
"Wha!? What the!?" said Rolo, who was clearly startled.

Chet grabbed Corinne around the waist and pulled her back a couple of feet. She would've been clobbered by Rolos flailing arms if he hadn't. Rolo flailed his arms around wildly like a mad man. He then spun around on the top of his barstool. A passing observer would've thought that Rolo was being attacked by ghosts. As far as Rolo was concerned, he was.

Rolo then opened his eyes, he couldn't believe what he saw. His jaw literally dropped.

"You shouldn't sneak up on the big fella like that Corinne. He startles easily." warned Chet.

"Oh uhh, sorry C-c-Corinne. Did I hurt you?" Rolo stammered.

"You most certainly did not." replied Chet.

If it wasn't for Chet though, Rolo so would've hurt Corinne. But Chet felt that not calling attention to that would've be the classy thing to do. He didn't want to humiliate Rolo in front of his crush anymore than he already had.

"Your beer wasn't so lucky dude. There wasn't much left so ya know." stated Chet.

During his wild flailing, Rolo knocked his schooner of beer over. There was only one eighth of a glass left so the spill was small. It only left a little puddle on the bar. The bartender himself took out a rag and quickly wiped it up, sighing to himself.

"Oh" replied Rolo. Color was clearly starting to show on his cheeks.

"Don't sweat it brother!" placated Chet.

"Yeah dude. You're like one of my cleaner, more classier patrons. You have no idea the amount of shit I have to put up with as a bartender. But it's all worth it. Good music, good people." he interjected.

"See? It's all good." placated Chet further.

"Oh, uh ok." replied Rolo.

"Doesn't Corinne look amazing tonight!?" asked Chet.

"You're damn right she does boss." replied Rolo enthusiastically.

"Simply stunning." intoned the bartender.

"I'll leave you two love birds alone." said Chet.

He gave them a wink before leaving Rolo and Corinne at the bar. Chet quickly found a rather nice looking girl in a white dancing dress covered in red polka dots. By the looks of things, they were gonna cut the rug in more ways than one.

"So little lady. What'll you have?" asked the bartender.

@Rhythmloidposting time!
@RhythmloidSo sorry. I will have a post up later today. It's just that if I go too fast, the quality of both my writing and my ideas drop.
@RhythmloidLooks like it's gonna be a wild one! And thanks! I do like that song in particular myself.
The strange glowing blue elixir tasted like watermelon flavoured vodka. Sweet and intoxicating. But as the liquid passed his esophagus, its true intent was revealed. Radiating from the liquid itself was a bitter coldness. Like a blizzard in liquid form. So cold that it burned.

Gilligan barked out a couple of coughs. The mysterious woman looked at him wide eyed. She was visibly concerned.

"Don't worry sweet thing. That liquor of yours is a bit strong for me." placated Gilligan.

All of a sudden, the coldness and numbness started to spread throughout his entire body. It was like his whole body was going numb. It was at this point that Gilligan started to feel concerned, to put it lightly.

Gilligan stood up from the bearskin rug then staggered away. Bumping into his couch and knocking over a small table in the process. He tried to get himself to the kitchen for a cup of water, but his legs failed him. He lost all sensation in them. Gilligan fell to the floor in a heap. He could no longer walk.

"Out of all my victims, you're the one who's put up the most fight against my toxin." said the mysterious woman.

She stood over Gilligan with that very same devious smile of hers. She was as menacing as a beautiful naked woman could be.

She knelt down beside Gilligan and whispered into his ear. "You're my favourite. I can't wait to add you to my collection."

All of a sudden, Gilligans heart began to beat rapidly. Much more rapidly than it had ever beaten before. It beated so rapidly that it thundered in his ears. His heart then emitted a strange heat. It radiated out of his heart and into his circulatory system. It felt like a warm fire in his veins, driving away the bitter coldness of the elixir. Seconds after the commencement of this bizarre phenomenon, Gilligan started to sweat profusely. He felt awake, he felt alive. He felt down right sanguine. His energy was peaking. He felt like he could run a marathon. All these sudden and extreme changes shocked Gilligan, though he felt much too lively to care.

The mysterious woman recoiled away then took a small hop back. She was quite taken aback by these sudden turn of events.

"What!? This cannot be! This is impossible!" she cried.

Gilligan stood up from the floor, drenched in sweat. His head was buzzing like a small child on too much sugar.

"I'm afraid not sweetheart. It'll take more than a sweet drink and a nice pair to take me down." Gilligan declared.

No doubt it was his most badass moment to date. He took a mental note to high-five himself later on. He also took a few mental pictures as well, purely for research purposes of course.

The mysterious woman emitted an ear splitting and demonic screech. Gilligan cupped his ears to block out that painful and abrasive sound.

Her hands and feet then began a strange metamorphosis. They became extremely muscular and grew to triple their size. Her fingernails transformed into massive, dangerous looking, and doubtlessly razor sharp talons. Her eyes transformed as well. They became yellow with elongated vertical black pupils in the middle. Much like the eyes of a lizard.

She then lowered herself into a pouncing position. She was ready to attack.
