I am not being controlled by a mind flayer. I just used my own healthy brain to come to that conclusion. Because I'm saying it, it must be true.

So to get it straight, we're waiting for the train to leave central and then the GM has something in store for us after introductions but while were still on the train.

Am I missing something?
Well we could always have the action interrupt the meeting.

Well, I agree with you partially, because I believe that we shouldn't delay too much the main story. Ther's only so much we can do during travels, that's why they are handwaved on most works of fiction.

Our current situation may not be a good example, but unlike other works of fiction we can have all the time we want. This is a roleplay, and there's not an end in sight. That being said, we really don't need to rush anything.

I'm only really saying anything because most of us had only posted once and there's already talk of arriving at our destination. Like I said, this may be a bad example, but I wouldn't want to repeat this later in the Rp.

I'm going to work now, but I find the time to squeeze in a little post. I think we can skip straight to East City after this scene and meet @GummyCat's character during the official briefing. It would sound more natural than retconing someone else's existence at the lunch. What do you guys think?

Well, we might be on the train, but we are traveling across a country. I'ts going to take some time. I think we should stay on the train a little longer,it gives us a little more time to chat plus if Gummy finds the time, than she can be part of the introductions.
In one of the cabins of the train a waiter approached with a cloth in on hand and a plate of food in the other. With a quick observation it was clear that the food was going to the man and his wife who sat near the one end of the cabin. William, whom was spectating the waiter, stood and intercepted him. He scribbled on a small chalk board at miraculous speeds and held it for the waiter to read, the sign read"I was just walking over to em, I'll just take the food with me" William waited until the servers eyes met his and he smiled. His conniving little plan worked and the server handed over the steak and mashed potatoes. William held his smile, waiting for the server to turn around. The exact moment he did, William broke out into a fast walk towards the train cabin where he was supposed to meat the other alchemists. All could have been made easier if William had decided to just pay for some food, but he didn't want to have to pay a ridiculous price for something like mashed potatoes and steak.

The cabin door opened in front of him, standing within were three people. One was a girl, a young one, wearing the military uniform standing by the window. The other was a man, Slightly taller than the others. He was heavily bandaged on his arms and head, making it difficult to make out his features. The third girl was standing there, saluting to the others. A salute usually doesn't last for more than a few seconds, so he speculated that she'd arrived around the same time he did. Unlike her, however, William didn't salute. It may be a very large gesture of recognition, But William wasn't going to salute to anyone, unless it was rightfully due. In his eyes, it wasn't.

With a mouth full of steak he looked at the lot, then moved his eyes to his chalkboard where he erased the last thing he wrote and began fresh. He held up the chalkboard,"Morning." It read.
I'll be posting sometime today.

[EDIT] I posted! (Finally....)

Also extra info:

To make things easier to understand I thought it might be a good idea to establish what colors have been used for dialogue with each character.

Aegis = Green
Kit = Yellow (or what ever you call that color)
Yash = Blue (I think at least. Just look at his character)
Roars = (What color would you like?)
Kixod = (What color would you like?)

Note: If you don't like the color, you can change it. I was just suggesting this)

Also, To make things more interesting, I was thinking that in order to meet the 6th person requirement, we could have an NPC to join us, (at least till more people join). What do you think?

I am open for suggestion.

I think an NPC character would be good for the RP. He/she could be good for plot progression if you decided to make the NPC die, evil, a hacker, a saint, pretty much anything that a player might have a hard time doing.
Name: William Campbell

Age: 25

Rank: Major

State title: The Trapping Alchemist

Appearance:

Backstory: Ever since William was a boy his interest in Alchemy always lead him into trouble. Practising the art whenever he saw fit, and usually having little to no regard for the consequences. By the age of 14 William thought he knew everything there was to know about alchemy and decided to learn alkahestry, thinking they were along the same lines. He mustered up some money and took a long and unforgettable trip to Xing, where he went to tons of different libraries cross referencing everything he learned. It was to his misfortune when he accidentally stumbled upon a sacred families secret. Descendants of the aforementioned family abducted him off the street a few days later and preformed unauthorized and unprofessional surgery on him. During the abduction they removed his vocal cords, this was a symbolic way of saying don't speak a word of the family's secret. Luckily for William, doctors at the nearest hospital used alkahestry and medical sciences to save his life, and prevent him from bleeding out. The doctors told William that he would probably never speak again. William had to find an alternative way to communicate with people, he started to use a small, clipboard sized chalkboard to write out what he wants to say.

William came back to Amestris a changed man. William was no longer filled with excitement and curiosity, instead, depression and cynicism. Every where he went, he felt like he could trust no one. He'd thought a lot about that day in Xing, and everyday he wonders why he couldn't defend himself. William knows so much about alchemy, yet, he still managed to get abducted. William came to the conclusion that he needed to get stronger, but self motivation wasn't enough to do that, he also needed resources. He needed more knowledge. This is where he decided to become a state alchemist.

He became a state alchemist a few months after the Ishvalan war had ended, he thought there would be a lack of soldiers after the war, and it would be a good chance to join.

Specialty: Liquefaction - William uses alchemy to create quicksand using the ground, thus his name 'The Trapping Alchemist'. William must preform a chain like reaction to create this quicksand. First, he uses his alchemy to deconstruct the earth in a targeted area and destroy it into millions of pieces of sand. William then uses his alchemy to create water from exchanging the material around the sand (wood, concrete, dirt etc.). The third step in his form of alchemy is to saturate the freshly made sand with the water he transmuted, giving him quicksand. William was the first person to create and use this type of alchemy, William used this alchemy during the practical part of his state alchemist exam. He preforms his alchemy with a small chalkboard that he carries around, this chalkboard is the same one he uses to communicate with.
@Undying Curiosity Your character must be on his luckiest day to have met mine. She will offer to heal his vocal chords with her medical alchemy, and she probably would succeed, though at the prove of turning him into a lesser chimera by giving him the vocal chords of some random beast.

Sounds like a deal!

But, I'd rather rp as a mute for a while. Because I feel like my character would seriously consider it, I'd appreciate it if you didn't offer my character right away. If offered later in the Rp (possibly after a few big events/bonding moments, just to establish a stable character IC), this could be a vital point for character development and/or relationship development. If this were to actually happen, I wouldn't want too rush it ya know?
^o^!!

Edit: So can I move my character in to CS tab??
I've been waiting for a FMA rp for so long, so glad this is a thing.

I've made this CS a while ago, but never got to use him. I've changed some things to fit your CS, but if you find something wrong with it, please tell me.
