I am not being controlled by a mind flayer. I just used my own healthy brain to come to that conclusion. Because I'm saying it, it must be true.

Gah! I feel like a missed so much...

Additionally, I'm in Mountain Standard Time in Canada.

I'm also in Canada, but I'm in Eastern Standard time.. At the time of this post, its 10:56 PM.
sounds interesting, it seems like it will really encourage creativity in character progression. Although, I can't help but feel like some people would protest some of their powers....
Ok, so two things to remember with powers is that, like I already mentioned, your character will become more powerful over time. They're young. As they use their abilities and mature they will become stronger. Second thing to remember is when you suddenly start showing powers you don't know what your power is. The things didn't come with instructions or a guide book ya know?

So as an example I have a character in the book that can control gravity. When his powers first manifest he wakes up to find he's floating three feet in the air above his bed. At first he thinks he can fly. Then he later thinks he has telekenises. It takes a little while before they narrow it down to controlling gravity.

Another character has a power known as creation. Literally a God-like power. Anything he wants, he can create it out of thin air. A car, motorcycle, weapons, clothes, food, etc. BUT he has to completely understand the item he's making down to its molecular structure or it won't work. So this character, with his photographic memory, can't do much at first but he has the potential to grow into an incredibly powerful character eventually.

Sounds pretty cool. I like the idea of having a randomly selected power. Would you be selecting the power to give to characters randomly, or would you give the character powers based on their personality, bio, appearance Etc... ?
What is the range in which you would like the powers of our abilities to be? Like what is to powerful?
Interested.
@Cenco Gallium Mimic... has a bit of a ring to it. XD
Kazue leaned forward to push himself up off the ground, watching as the girl he'd bumped into turn her head towards him. Her hair perfectly framed her face, revealing who this person was. When she looked at him Kazue immediately knew who this person was. Her name was Momiji, they've had class at school together in the past years.

Kaz wasn't much of a socialite, and he really didn't have much(if any) friends. The people that he encountered on the day to day basis consisted of his two parents and sometimes his mailman, it wasn't exactly a perfect circle of friends. That being said, anybody else who left any sort of impression on him was usually remembered. Such as his best friend, or even, evidently, someone who knew his best friend.

Kaz lost in thought as he starred at this girl, was pulled down back to reality with a chain that took form as attitude. It took Kazue by surprise to see this girl, who at school, is a kindhearted and friendly individual, show so much bitterness. Kazue didn't see it coming at all, her words 'Watch where you're going, idiot!' stung his timid self.

Kazue was well aware of the persona's one takes on when they know they'll be judged by others, along with being around the people they know. It's very often a person chooses a mask that portrays them as a better person. It's only when caught off guard do you truly see whats underneath that aforementioned mask. Of course, everyone does this. Kazue once read a quote from a book he was reading that really gave him some perspective on how people act. It went along the lines of ' Every person wears three masks, a mask to show their friends, a mask to show their family, and a mask they only show to them self. These masks change over time and are different for everyone...'

Kazue looked down and felt he was responsible for this little dilemma, He was about to apologize and leave the cafe, but more words had escaped the girls mouth. These one's weren't hurtful, however. She explained who she was and that she knew Kazue. It was strange to him, he knew they'd met before but she was acting as they only seen each other before.

Kazue remembers a time when Yoshiro, his best friend who isn't here anymore, introduced Kaz and Momiji to each other. Why now is she acting like that? It was clear Kazue didn't pick up on many social clue, this being a prime example.

"I-I...We've met before..." Kazue said with some hesitance. He was starting to think maybe they had't officially met before, and that maybe Kazue had just imagined such a scenario.

He bit his lip a bit before he spoke again, he wanted to see if she remembered or not. He let out a whisper, only saying one word hoping she would acknowledge or at the very least humor his notion, "Yoshiro??" He said, as if he was asking if she'd remembered him or not. It was a little depressing to hear himself say it out loud, seeing as it was a name that was such a big part of his life.

He looked at Momiji with a confused expression on his face, as if he was thinking about whether or not they have met, or maybe confused at the fact that she couldn't remember.
@Cenco In the OP it would explain that each color has a specific characteristic, with the exception of black & white.
It seems like you have a character in mind that involves shapeshifting. Instead of an unknown color, you could have your duel avatar color be either black or white, seeing as they dont have any specific characteristics.

Being a black/white avatar, opens the posibilities to have unique traits(such as shapeshifting).

@Vocab I honestly thought Void was white O.o XD

I think we're all guilty in equal parts here. xD

Agreed.
~Mo'Rahv VI~
~Campfire on the Mountain summit (Koraha)~

Gusts of wind would blow over the make-shift campsite, making the flames of the fire dance like the nobles of old. The crackling of the fire made the silence more bearable, a silence that Mo'Rahv had enough of. It's been days since the lone traveler had the company of man, and now that there was company, Mo'Rahv wasn't going to sit here and not talk. He shifted in his gear, standing there and doing nothing makes the cloth on his armor stick to his skin, a feeling most uncomfortable. Mo'Rahv cleared his throat with a cough, ready to speak up to the other two. But, as he was about to speak, the old man bagan to talk.

He listened to the old mans words as he lets the aroma of his tea fill the air of the tent. Mo'Rahv was just outside the tent, but he could still smell the sweet scent of the tea as if he wasn't. It made his stomach growl, a feeling he ignored as he listened to the old man. Naturally, Mo'Rahv was skeptical of this man, his words were profound and, frankly, a bit odd. Mo'Rahv had came to Koraha on business, more or less, and he had no intentions of completing a greater motive. The words the old man spoke of seemed to be the fuel for a man who's superstitious, something Mo'Rahv wasn't.

Mo'Rahv wasn't the kind of person to fly off the handle at every little thing, if something grined his gears he would think of the proper choice of words to combat it. But in this case, there wasn't anything to argue, but rather, something to question.

"And what exactly did 'you' start??" Mo'Rahv said in a deep voice, the tone seeming a bit condescending.
