I am not being controlled by a mind flayer. I just used my own healthy brain to come to that conclusion. Because I'm saying it, it must be true.

I haven't posted yet. I just got off work and i'm throwing somthing up now.
Joking aside, are we really heading to lunch right after this period? Or are we just time skipping up to lunchtime?

I guess school structure is different in different places. Where I live they changed the schedule of high school in the past few years, going from 5 periods to 4. Two periods than a 45 min lunch, followed by another two periods. The idea behind it was longer periods to teach and gives teachers more one-on-one time with their students.

I honestly thought that's what we were doing XD.
Micky felt a little bit of relief when Alden didn't mind him joining, but he wasn't all that fond of asking 'Icy'. But, micky had to do what he had to do, even if that meant succumbing to some criticism or rejection. Micky couldn't hesitate more than the few seconds he already had so he just decided to ask. Micky took in a silent yet prolonged breath, and began to speak.

"You thin--" Micky began, but almost immediately being cut off by the end of the class.

Micky looked at Mina as she walked away, obviously heading to her next class. Micky wasn't going to chase down the Ice queen just to join a History group, the possible outcomes of which were most definitely not worth it. Micky let out his breath and watched as the two students walked out of the room.

"I guess that's that." Micky said silently to himself. All of the students were already out of the classroom by now, so Micky then left too. Micky walked down the hall opposite the direction in which the majority of the class went, instead Micky headed towards the gymnasium. Earlier in the year, when students were picking their electives, Micky had decided to be more healthy and loose some weight in the process. Back then, he thought it was the perfect choice, Physical Education and Health. Looking back, he realized that the decision he made wasn't as thought out has he'd previously assumed. Phys. Ed wasn't an easy class for someone of Micky's weight, regardless though, Micky promised himself he'd never fall into a positions where someone would make fun of his weight, even if that meant pushing his body to the limits for months on end.

Micky showed up to Gym in his usual gym cloths. Coloured mesh shorts, with a grey shirt that had the School's logo and name in a darker color. Luckily it was a Thursday, so Micky didn't really have to worry about exercising to much. Usually towards the end of the week (Thursday and Friday), the teacher will play a game with the class that usually has more to do with thinking and planning, rather than physical feats.

Micky heard the bell and realized the class was over. Usually Micky waits for the bell to ring but when you're actually having fun, time flies.

"Take 6 laps and then you're good to go!" The teacher yelled through the gym.

Micky let out a sigh followed by a whispered, "...shit." Drenched in sweat, Micky 'hit the showers' and put on his regular clothes.

"First half down, one more to go..." Micky said to himself as he made his way through the halls back to his locker.
I'm ready for lunch as well, I'm just about to write up a post and basically move through second period in a flash.
Hi. We just started a big project in my class, and I've realized that I will not have as much time to do this as I would like for a while. This means that I'm going to have to cancel the game or at least put it on a break until I'm done with the project. I will probably be around the site for some more light hearted roleplaying, but I want this to be good and can't see that happen with the amount of time I will be able to put into it.

Question is, are you guys willing to wait or should we just call it quits for now and restart later?

Whatever you decide to do, I'm fine with that.
On a side note, doing my taxes this year may be a ginormous headache. *grumbles*

I feel you.

Also, I was going to have my characters second period be Business or Phys Ed. I figured I'f I'm the only character in that class, I can just fly through that timeline and hop right into lunch. It's a little late to mention it, But I'm going to be posting in the morning, so it'll be some time before I throw something up again.
Just threw up a post.
Micky's eyes moved from the paper that laid blank of his desk, to the boy who stood up in front of the class. He didn't really pay much attention to what he was saying, all this stuff about Micheal Angelo went in one ear and out the other. Micky likes history as much as the next guy, but only certain time periods, the renaissance not being one of them. If Micky could choose a certain time period in which he'd like to learn about, it would have to be ancient civilizations.

Just when Micky was about to look back down at his blank paper, he heard the boy speak up again, this time stating his thoughts on the whispers that floated through the classroom. Micky looked around to see if he was talking to anyone in particular, but it seemed like he was talking to the class as a whole. Naturally the teacher disliked this, resulting in some extra class time for him. Micky wasn't really surprised by this, much like the teacher, Micky also had classes with this boy before. His name was Alden something... People called him the 'Mr. Perfectionist' or 'Perfect boy' or something like that. Rumors are, no doubt, a large part of the social structure of high school. Micky tried to distance himself from getting caught in the web, but he knew rumors about him would eventually surface... it was only a matter of time.

Micky didn't understand though. Sometimes when there's rumors about someone, they actually turn out to be a good thing. In this instance, being called 'Perfect' by everyone can be a rumor that has it's ups and downs. It seemed hard for Micky to empathize with Alden, Micky would love to be called 'Perfect'. Although, like most things, it's more than just a word people use to describe you, it's a label, like it or not. Micky looked at Alden and remembered a time when he complimented him of his perfectionism, it wasn't anything special, but it was was genuine.

Micky picked up his binder and books, from his desk and made his way over to the two. Alden and The ice...Mina. Micky didn't know Mina at all, but he knew that the boy, Alden, can be nice when he wants to. Maybe a time like this will change his mood, even a little. Micky stopped just short of the conjoined desks of Mina and Alden.

"Hey, uhm, I was wondering... There's only like 29 students in the class today and, uhh, everyone has a partner...for the most part. So, think I can join your group? there being odd numbers and all..."

In his head, Micky imagined his words coming out better, but at this point, what can you do right? Micky let out a sigh, hinting that he meant to be a little more 'smooth' about it. Nonetheless, the point got across. He was growing tired of waiting for the teacher to randomly assign him a partner, and if he had to choose a group to disrupt, why not make it be with two of the smarter students in class.
[@Inertiaa] You're going to have to wait for me to post, I'm feeling a bit tired so I'm logging off for the night.
