One of the fundamental rules in drawing is to start it off with basic shapes and lines and other basic shit, although i'm too tired to explain any further. You used a circle and a line to draw a better face, good job. Online tutorials have more, including how to draw more defined bodies and complex poses.

Alternatively, you can make the curve more sharper, so sharp that it's nearly a corner (although not exactly sharp, just a little bit of curve) if you want to emphasize male features.
Uniqueness is great, although not exactly great if that "uniqueness" is an unsuitable characteristic.
