How would a building protect someone directly touching a dangerous object?

In the IA, they have specialized medical care rooms where a doctor can put on a pair of gloves and operate a set of robotic hands remotely to perform an operation. That’s just one example I can think of. It let’s you treat things like this without putting someone next to a potential bomb.

It should be fine for about everybody. If someone is directly treating her, they may stand a chance of being injured, but that's about the end of it.

That is what I’d be afraid of though. No precautions here against that kind of thing?

We've secured the space.

I just wouldn't want anyone getting hurt in the process of treating her.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

It hasn't responded properly yet.

Hm. Shame. I'd have considered housing her elsewhere, until safety is guaranteed.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

We're concerned about the same thing.

No technology scans have been attempted yet?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

I'm not sure if it's connected to anything particularly important.

If it isn't then I suppose the biggest fear is if it's a bomb or something.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

We aren't certain about its function.

If it's in her head and actually connected to some important things, then it sounds like you lot are in quite a predicament there.

That we can't use magic? Or that there was a device in her head?

Well, I suppose if you happen to have no magic users around at the moment then it's understandable, but I was talking about the device.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

I don't think any of us can use magic. I could try an E-Tank or a battlechip, but I was concerned by a device in her head.

Oh? Now that's a development I wasn't expecting.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

It could have been much worse.

Is there a reason no one tried, say, magical healing spells or however that works? Fix it up basically instantly?
