The collective we, not the royal we. Like, if I were a part of that society, we would have to come to a consensus.

And people's opinion isn't that different. The core of all this is pretty agreed upon for us, if it isn't for most others.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

No, but we’d somehow have to come up with the consensus.

"We'd"? Oh, right, "we'd".
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

You think so? Building a society isn’t a small thing, after all. I feel like I might not think it should be done the same way someone else does.

And you'd act on that rather than return to normalcy in an otherwise deprived life?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

Even if everyone has a different idea of how society is supposed to be?

It’s hardly different, if at all.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

The first one I think is the hardest part. Not that I've ever built a civilization.

Well, what I mean by that is that the dystopia didn’t last that long. A solid majority of people who helped rebuild were people who had lived through and been part of society before the disaster. A large populace with an understanding what a solid society looks like, all of which were accustomed to that life, makes it not hard to convince, nor does it require a whole lot of change to make it happen, compared to building a society out of, say, a world that had lived in dystopia for centuries or longer.

Even for managing and governing people out of chaos?

It's not difficult under certain conditions. A strong backbone for societal structure, a physically strong military force for defense and peacekeeping, good incentives for not pursuing a dystopic life.

Even with tech, people are still people. How’d you get around the logistics of that?

A good army of robots can do wondrous things. I heard of a much more miraculous example in the form of a Waternaux City, pretty recently.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

That was fast. How’d they pull that off?

Our technological prowess and ingenuity is very difficult to match, period. Lots of smart cookies and technology to speed things along.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

I see. Was the rebuilding process going well when you left your world?

It's basically done.

Community level? Interpersonal? Planetary?

It's not category exclusive. Restricting yourself with that kind of mentality just means you're limiting what you're actually affecting.
