I've got a bunch of these if you want them. The army is using them left and right to boost their strength—it should give you a huge boost and might last you through the fight, but I can't really say for sure.

He's got more than one way to claw his way back out of death. Unless it messed up, which I guess could happen. But if he does, then you can either beat him down until he runs out of ways to do that and is dead for real, continue doing the same thing until he hits his backfire limit, or you can try to push him into backfiring earlier.
