Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

As I said to Tsun's comment I'd just as well do either his idea, or Loveland's but some people may not want to just be the background characters. If people want me/whoever gm's to play the hero, and just be the party that follows them that's fine but we do still need a passable party to start with. The plan with Loveland's idea is not to split the heroes but to have them all in one singular party ignoring the canon rule of them not being able to work together outside of waves, which they apparently do sometimes regardless, its more of a measure to make sure no one seems 'lesser' than another player.
Its a by the books small town rural with a smallish modernized city district not very hilly and the forest is down the road far enough unto the country side. Its also hidden by spells because magic forests but by the time we get down the road and use magic to counter it will be time for encounters.
"In life you outranked us Archbishop but now you are a heroic spirit. A being chained to reality that you should no longer be a part of. With all due respect if you wish for information on the church, and its current methods than I shall provide them but anything that may compromise our own operations here by the masters shall be denied to you. This spot is a place where Executioners, and local church members come to rest. As such we have things here that may be sold to our enemies, or leaked improperly. This is not an insult to you Saber. Simply put we don't wish to endanger our faculty here. We're providing safe refuge and it would do well for those who eat our bread, and drink our water to not insult their hosts.." Father Howard stated to Saber rather bluntly. He made it quite clear there he had no intention of bowing to a dead archbishop no matter who she may have been in life. He turned on his heel disregarding any forthcoming comments as he led the group inside the pews were here, and there.

As Father Howard led the group through a door in the back of the church he made a sudden turn left into a broom closet, and opened a trap door which was hidden underneath fake flooring. The way down was somewhat cramped but Father Howard informed them that the below was formerly in use by Polish soldiers during the second world war in order to hide from Nazi's who occupied the country. It was expanded upon back in the 80's, and has since been used to train church trainees in certain rituals but now had been cleared out to provide a place for Caster, and the other masters a way to make a small base of sort. Every group had one room which they could hold both master, and servant. "I may ask what prevents familiars from spying on us down here?" Lancer questioned as she looked at the Reverend. Howard smiled and nodded. "I assure you that you'd know. The place is lined with brick, and mortar. As well as lead. Its basically a bunker. If anyone spies on you then you'll know it. There are plenty of exits, and should the need arise I'm positive your servants can simply break through the stone, and make a big hole in the basement. If it comes to that then the church is already lost regardless." Howard responded as he let the masters do as they wished be it go downstairs, or prepare to handle the situation as hand of the Greys' forest. Leon chose to head downstairs and prepare himself. As he went down the cramped staircase he found the damp, and dark entrance to be rather disturbing in a horror movie sense. However the massive hall downstairs was surprising.

Compared to the stairs Leon found the large hallways filled with doors leading to many rooms to be strange. It was like he had walked into a big government building. Some of the doors were labelled as storage, and others were labelled as living spaces for the masters. The halls seem to go infinitely in one direction, or the other branching off into different corners, and other hallways. It would seem they found themselves in a maze of sorts if not the fact that there were plastered maps on the ends of most of the hallways in order to show which rooms were where in accordance to their current position. "I am...impressed, and also somewhat scared that priests have giant mazes in the bottom of their freakin' churches." Leon stated as he looked down the corridors. "You may pick a room of your choosing. Set up there, and I'll prepare dinner before you launch your operation. You may do so as you choose we are after all just priests, and not members of the Black Faction."
Well I'm glad at least someone is enjoying the slow open.
My intention for the slow start is to throw out all the base for what the rp is. Setting it in London initially is just to have a neutral meeting place, and give me as a gm the ability to set up replacements for anyone who drops out early. And this segment at the church is going to end soon enough. Its only here to have anyone to set up shop before moving onto the first segment. I intend to split the party into two servants each per party sent out, and move everyone into combat against different aspects of the Grey family forces. The others took issue with my initial idea of a mook ambush because of their invisibility so I'm circumventing it by making it much more stream lined. Combat will come soon enough if people actually post.

If people have lost interest for whatever reason there is not much else I can do. Most rp's die regardless of how quick combat happens.
Still waiting
If there are more people who'd want that then I'd be open to such a thing.
Some people don't like to play as the background characters to a 'main hero' so to speak. That's why I'm leaving open the possibility that we can stretch the lore. If people want to do the same shindig as the main story I'm willing to do that like you suggest as well. The issue being if the hero flakes out. Meaning in all likelihood is that the gm will be the shield hero. I'm open to the idea that players can just cluster the heroes together, or mix in two while others choose to play native world people be it mages, archers, monks, etc. Ultimately this is a brainstorming thread there is nothing wrong with leaving suggestions even if you don't want to join.
Hello everyone recently I've been wanting to take a crack at the shield hero anime manga/series. It is an interesting universe on its own, and the story itself is rather interesting subversion of the interest check. However as it stands I have very few ideas, and I don't believe I'd be able to gm this on my own. The universe is full of statistics, and rules which aren't my particular forte. More over the main story follows Naofumi, and his journey through the lands of the isekai world he finds himself in. I'm not sure if people would want to follow a singular hero, or disregard to weird 'All heroes must journey separately' rule. What role slavery, and such would play into a roleplay centered around it.

I'd be interested in trying to figure out a cohesive plot, and if I receive the proper help by a co-gm, and or someone else willing to do so, make the rp centered around it. But first I feel the need to discuss this with others, and plan things out from there. For those who don't know shield hero here's a copy, and pasted summary of the series. It contains spoilers.

With all that out of the way would someone like to help me figure something out for this, or should it just die on the cutting board floor?
"You tell me what you think we should do first Yuya? Do we really need to force confrontation here. This is a hotel these men may just be samurai discontent with the shogunate. Or they could be enemies? Do we attack first? Or do we wait? Would you risk your hands being watered with the blood of a man who didn't need to die?" questioned Fujimaru as he looked at his companion. He spoke quietly to make sure his voice wasn't overheard too far away from him like the men in the nearby room. "We need to do our jobs without disgracing ourselves, and the shogunate. More so I am not the point man in this attack." Fujimaru said pointing forward as he looked at Yuya with indifferent eyes. He wanted to test his men here see if they actually were worth the title of 'Wolf of Mibu'. He wasn't sure himself on the course of action but he'd probably order the group to split up if the front men truly wanted his orders. It was his job as captain to give orders and he wouldn't fail to do so if he needed to.
