Current It's definitely weird coming back here after realizing I've cut ties or lost touch with basically all the people I've known from here, which were all some of my closest friends on the internet.

Summer clearly wasn't taking it personally. If anything, it seems more like you are, friend.

alright, we have plot. You guys are free to fuck around for the remainder of the first IC day. Sylvaky, sorry for the delay. You are accepted. Your character is going to be shoved in with Tyrant's. Lets just say, for convenience, your character was late, or something. Gabriel Paxton and Thea now both share room 667. Just say a staff member gave them both this number on the way out, or something.
Ark breathed a bit heavily as he recovered from Dagny's punch. He didn't want to move for a good while. His thoughts of resting were halted by the walls slowly shrinking down, the box becoming smaller by the minute, and then... POOF, Ark was back in his seat. What an odd experience. Nevertheless, Ark sat back in his rather comfortable seatings. Even if it was nothing fancy, it was still better than a bare floor. His comfort was quickly evaporated by the sight of something quite horrendous; Two students, sitting much farther ahead, probably first years, without clothing. What made it worse was that they were fleshy meatbags, ugly human bags of filth. Ark avertted his gaze, realizing that a good number of students had done the same.

Maxwell, having just finished his little chat with Jojo, noticed that the white room had begun to shrink. Maxwell backed into the center as the wall shrunk closer. As soon as he thought the room was getting too small for two people, Maxwell was back in his seat. Letting out a quick chuckle, he started looking around. What was the point of that room thing? get everyone acquainted with eachother? start fights? get someone killed? All of this fell from maxwell's mind when he saw a stark naked pair of students sitting a fair ways in front of him. One of these naked students had features that looked familiar to Max. As soon as Maxwell figured it out, he burst out laughing. "What the hell? Varren? Why the hell is Varren Naked?" Maxwell didn't really care about how loud he was being, he just wanted to point out this absurdity to the rest of the class.

Ier-Briar looked in awe at that which sat in front of him. He promptly planted his hand on his face. "Someone.. get those 2 bafoons some clothes, and put that succubus on a watch list. Scratch that, multiple watch lists." Removing his hand from his face, Ier-Briar began to speak about the Dorm arrangements "Alright, so you just met the person you will be spending at least tonight with. SURPRISE! You now have your temporary dorm mates, or maybe not-so-temporary, if you like your forced partner, anyway. As you all should know, each year has a seperate dorm building, each of varying quality, becuase nobody likes first years. Your white box number is also your dorm number, so spend the rest of today getting aquainted with your new home, and then come back down for dinner, becuase a full idiot is better than a starving idiot." Ier-Briar cringed at that last line of dialogue "Whoever wrote that is going to get fired. I swear!" Ier-Briar walked off stage, leaving the students to do their day 0 bullshit.
OK, so this seems to be dying, but, I can assure you that this is all Jedly's fault. As soon as he finishes that post, we can all be on our way to happy times. Though, just to make sure that everyone is still here, please check in and give us a status on how active you're most likely going to be. For myself, I will probably be at my normally slow pace, because life.
I blame Jedly.
Dagny vs Ark on SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY in box 3546
Dagny blinked against the white, feeling as if she had just been hit by a truck. Which, for Dagny, didn't really mean anything. So she stood up, her blue eyes widened as she looked around the box. "What the fuck?" she muttered, turning to confirm the box was uniform all over. And there was a fellow fourth year, who she recognized to be Ark. Isn't much of an icebreaker if I already know 'im, she thought. "Prove your worth!" Echoed about and, although confused for a moment, Dagny eventually grinned and slammed her fist into the palm of her hand. "Alright, let's go, Scales," she taunted. Ark wasn't phased by the blinding light, but he was still unable to see anything as he was transported into the box. "Drycc." Ark muttered, as he noticed the other 4th year in the box. "Dragon Girl, of course. They won't let me have a single year where I don't have to deal with you." Ark said this with complete distain for Dagny's existance. He grabbed the first two daggers hidden under his coat, before throwing the whole coat to the side. As he did, white scales surfaced from under Dagny's skin. Her gaze flcikered between the two daggers before her smile grew. She wasn't particularly fast, but she stepped forward to close the distance between her and Ark. As she did, she threw her fist up at the draconian's white snout. Ark was much faster than Dagny, though, even with his speed, her fist still grazed the side of his face as he tried to dodge to the right. It hurt, definently, Dagny threw punches harder than most could, but Ark was still able to ignore the pain and bring his left arm up to cut at Dagny's arm, while grabbing it with his right. The dagger was stopped against her scales, and she paid no mind to the claw around her arm. Instead, Dagny used Ark's grip to pull him forward and throw her opposite fist into his gut. The punch took a second to register in Ark's brain, and during this moment, he noticed an opening. Flipping the dagger in his left hand around, he threw a quick punch at Dagny's throat, as well as muttering a simple blinding spell under his breath, focused on his dagger. With both hands occupied, Dagny could only take the hit to her neck. She winced, a puff of smoke escaping from her mouth as she stepped back Ark stumbled backwards until he hit the wall, at which point he succumbed to the punch and dropped to the ground. He didn't black out completely, but he wasn't in a condition to continue fighting. Dagny rubbed at her neck then eyes as the bright light faded. She blinked a few times at the fallen draconian, then looked around the white box. "That all y'got?" she asked the fallen opponent as her scales fell back under her pale skin.
Maxwell Yinyues and Joseph Conrad in box 9510
Maxwell rubbed his eyes, quickly adjusting to the white box he had just been transported to. "Damn crazy Headmaster, what is he doing this time?" Maxwell noticed something out of the corner of his eye, or rather, someone. Acting on reflexes, his hand shot into his bag, grabbing out his pistol, and quickly aiming it at the unknown person. He then proceeded to look at the stranger. "Oh, hello." Joseph quickly reoriented himself to the sudden teleportation spell that was cast upon the students, making out another person in the room... with a firearm pointed directly at him. "Gee, jumping the gun eh? I would greet ya too, but seeing as you have a gun ready to splatter my brains all over this nice, clean, white room, I think I can throw manners out the window." "Name." Maxwell couldn't really remember if he had seen this guy before, but a quick search on the academy's student database should be a good idea. "Put that gun down and I'll think about it mate." Joseph sighed as he stood perfectly still. "Should a name really require thought?" Max kept the gun pointed straight at Joseph. "More thought than you put in aiming a weapon at me, that's for sure." Maxwell chuckled at Joseph's comment. "It's probably best that you do what I said and tell me your name, unless you really like holes in your head." "If I was in fear for my dear little life I would have taken that advice, but usually the person asking for a name usually gives it first, and I don't see much of an exception right now. You give me something, I'll give you something. Fair enough?" Once again, Maxwell chuckled. "Ooh, fun. Sure, my name is Maxwell Yinyues, fourth year." Joseph grinned as he replied to his fellow student. "Was that so hard? Joseph Conrad. Also a fourth year." Max turned the gun towards Joseph, so that he could see it was unloaded, before shoving it back into his bag. As he typed Joseph's name into the computer on his arm, he laughed a bit. "So, how the hell didn't you notice I was holding an unloaded gun?" Maxwell looked over Joseph's info. "Oh, great. Looks like we are in the same class this year, actually. All I suggest is that you don't disobey me if we ever have to work together. I'm probably smarter than you, anyway." "An asshole and a self proclaimed genius. Can you get anymore unbearable?" Joseph merely sighed again. "You know, people get gunned down in a blaze of glory for as much as flashing around a toy gun around trained professionals. I'm not fuckin batman, I'm Joseph Varren. Don't expect me to check every weapon my foes hold to see if they're real or not. Even if you had an unloaded weapon, the intent was real." "Geez, what an attitude. Kid, nah, that doesn't fit. Hmm, JoJo, yea, JoJo, if your going to act like this, then I'm sorry, alright? What else would I do? Just politely ask you your name? The best possible action in this situation was for me to take control of it, well, against a random nobody, at least, but yea, I guess everything depends on the person, right? And please, spare your lectures for someone who needs them. " As Maxwell said this, he paced the wall of the room opposite of Joseph. "So sorry Mr.Sun Tzu, oh most glorious of all. Had I decided to be an indecent human being and gone in for the kill, you would have been dead. For such a tactical genius, you seem anxious to make more enemies for yourself. And this is still school mate. You don't have to think everyone's a threat." "Eh, guess I was over reacting a bit, wasn't I? Oh well. Should probably not do that. Sorry for aiming a gun at you and shit." Admitting he was wrong was something that Maxwell hated to an absurd degree, but he didn't really have anything better to say. He extended out his hand to JoJo. "I actually kind of like your attitude." "You sure don't have some sort of explosive device rigged to your hand or something?" Despite these words, Joseph gave Maxwell a firm handshake. "Nice to meet ya too Maxwell. I'm sure we'll get along just fine." Collabs with Kidd and Nytem4re.

Ark was a bit put off by the rude antics of the Headmaster. What an uncultured freak. Why does he act so high and mighty every year? Ark sighed under his breath, and looked around at the students sitting around him. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed someone who he had hated since his first year for various reasons. Dagny Ek, the dragon girl who had tremendous strength, but the common sense of a brick wall. Ark fiddled with the thick coat that he was wearing, as it wasn't the best thing to have over his wings. When the Headmaster told them to look under their seats, of course Ark did this. It was just a piece of paper with a number on it. 3546 had been hastily written on the paper, and in such a haphazard fashion that it was barely legible. Ark was pretty sure that someone had drawn a beaver with a chainsaw on the piece of paper, as it took up most of the page.

Maxwell sat down with the rest of the 4th years, and casually watched the Headmaster's usual antics. It looked like it was just an intimidation act to whip the 1st years into shape, and for the most part, that was right, but it was always crazy to think that the Headmaster usually acted like that. Maxwell looked around and studied his fellow 4th years, a good number of them being ones he know semi-well. While The Headmaster was still conducting his antics, Maxwell pulled up the computer in his arm. He checked his email, finding just 1. Maria has sent an email with an image attached. Maxwell would check this later. The Headmaster soon instructed everyone to look under their chairs. Max found a single slip of wrinkled, dirty paper. The number 9510 was written in awful hand writing on the awful piece of paper. Why the hell did the Headmaster want them to have these pieces of paper anyway. Only one possible scenario came to Maxwell's mind.

Ark huddled in a small wooden building he had called home for the past 2 days. The flight from his hometown would have been 10 hours+ in the cold wind. That, in and of itself, would be hell. Though, in exchange for making the trip more like 30 minutes, he had to spend 2 days in the horrid cold of Alkvher, instead of Ghrenheim, with it's glorious tropical weather. Ark looked over at the old man he had been staying with for the past 2 days. The old Human had offered him a place to stay during those 2 days for the past 3 years that Ark had been a student at the academy. The man was charitable and kind, and Ark was thankful for that, though he was nothing compared to his old friend back in Ghrenheim. His name was Earl. Earl was a farmer who sat in the old cabin during the long winter months, barely making it through each year. "It's nearly time for me to go." Ark looked at the fireplace, then back at the kind old man "Thanks for letting me stay here again. I guess I'll help you with the next harvest." The old man simply smiled at Ark as he picked up his thick coat and walked to the door. Earl was mute, though he still managed to make a living without words. "Goodbye, Earl. Eyn' Gohdus." (Eyn' Gohdus is a draconian saying which means something like "Good fortune and hope to you") Ark stepped outside into the frigid cold, the leather on his feet barely preventing his feet from freezing. Ark watched as a majestic beast fell from the sky at brilliant speeds, landing a few feet in front of him with grace and elegance. Ark quickly checked the bags at his sides, making sure that all of his items of importance were there. Ark moved towards the beast, petting it slightly before climbing onto the saddle. Ark could not fly on his own at the moment. The air was too cold and it would have taken too much time. The beast climbed through the clouds at speeds faster than most could imagine. Ark looked around at the clouds. Boring. He checked downwards, at the still-visible human settlement, and the many acres of farmland owned by the old man. Ark began to sing an old chant under his breath. A relic of his past, a memory of an old friend. A tear dropped from his eye, before being torn away by the wind. After the allotted time had past, Ark arrived at the school, right as the announcement was made. He dismounted the griffin, petting it once again before thanking it and walking off. Ark made his way to the main hall with his bags at his sides, underneath a thick coat that covered his wings, which were hidden against his back.

BZZ...BZZ...BZZ Maxwell's hand slowly clambered for the snooze button, as his eyes began to open, adjusting to the morning light pouring in through the window. So, I go back to the Academy today? Well, at least I spent my break having a memorable time with Maria and... Max's thoughts were interrupted as he sat up to see something unsightly standing over him. "Good morning, Maxy!" Maxwell looked at the unwanted presence, wiping his eyes so that he could see more clearly. They were obviously wearing some sort of girl's school uniform. If it wasn't for the fact that Maxwell lived in the same house as them, he would clearly mistake them for a young schoolgirl. "What do you want, George?" Max said, with obvious disdain. "It's Georgia. How do I look?" He did a quick twirl. Yea, he may have looked cute, but that was still pretty creepy. "You look like you normally do, a guy that cross dresses for attention, even though he has no real interest in it." George seemingly got mad and stomped off. Maxwell looked to his left, at Maria, who had pulled the blanket over her head to block the sunlight. "I'll make sure to call often." Maxwell got up from the bed, and picked the uniform up off of his desk. He showered, ate breakfast, and put on the usual Academy of the Arcane Artes uniform. While he was getting ready, he remembered this was supposed to be Varren's first year at the academy. Varren wasn't going to make it in a place like that, Max was sure of it. Max looked through the kitchen window in the stark silence. The griffin had just arrived. Maxwell got up from his chair and walked briskly to the front door, grabbing his bag, putting on his shoes. He quickly checked his bag. Clothes, guns, fancy hat, sunglasses, and things that shouldn't be mentioned. Everything was in place. Maxwell stepped out the door and walked over to the Griffin. "Hello, old friend." He got on to the back of the winged beast, and flew through the black gale. Once Maxwell had arrived at the academy, he quickly headed for the main hall, with his bag at his side. His luggage should have already arrived at his room, so he had nothing to worry about. The announcement was a bit odd this year, given the aggressive weirdness of the Headmaster.
If we're getting partners, what happens if we end up with an odd number of players?
Trio, or one of the fifth years goes solo/mentor modu or something.
Alright then, it seems implied from your answer, but can partners be from different years?
Well, we did that in the first RP, so yea.
Thanks, also are partners subject to change at like a mid year evaluation, Each new year, or is it till death or graduation do we part. Also just more to flavor and out of curiosity, do the gate keepers work in teams usually or are they solo acts most of the time
Partners are subject to change either when the pair submits a form to split, when one of the 2 dies, or the end of the year. Of course, forms are renewable at the start of the new year, and stuff. Depending on the difficulty rating/classification of a target/dungeon/thing (We'll just refer to these as Black Gates for now, since we are gatekeepers, and all) a gatekeeper might go in solo, or take an entire army. Obviously, certain gatekeepers don't do solo, and some only go in solo. Grey... well, I'll keep this up anyway.
well, I guess you can contact me about character concepts, if you want, Dead. But yea, it's safe to assume that the other GMs wont let your vampire hit the IC ever.
