Current It's definitely weird coming back here after realizing I've cut ties or lost touch with basically all the people I've known from here, which were all some of my closest friends on the internet.

Summer clearly wasn't taking it personally. If anything, it seems more like you are, friend.

So, this seems like a bit of a mess. You are trying to adapt the game's mechanics to the in-game universe's lore, which isn't going to work too well. A yugioh RP works because the story is about people playing the yugioh card game. In magic, since the lore and the playing of the game are separate, you either make an RP about people playing the card game (which would be kind of boring), or an RP that takes place in the universe, but doesn't mention the card game.

So, it might be best to remove the mentions of libraries and planeswalker abilities, as they pertain to the card game, and make a more usual character sheet, with a section for describing magical abilities and such.

It would also be nice to focus the plot on a specific conflict/plane, or something, so that we don't just half of the characters on completely random planes doing who knows what.

It's the same phenomena that makes people swear that they remember my name being VaroniusNW.
Time for shitty spam games, bitches. Take whatever song you are currently listening to (if you aren't listening to one, well then, what the fuck are you doing here?) and post a YouTube link to it. Then, you will listen to the song posted above you, and rate it using an arbitrary rating system of 5 points (Ex: 4 pink triangles out of 5)

Bonus points
These will not matter at all, but you can get them, I guess.
If you do any of the following, you get a bonus point, a gold star, and a cookie:

  • have your arbitrary rating system (ARS) relate to the rated song in some way
  • Use images in your ARS
  • You include genuine criticism of the song along with your ARS
  • You shitpost along with your ARS

Oh yeh, Chess. So did you know that, in chess, the queen can move a lot of places?

are you still playing the old version? I think you need to start playing with the latest patch. They added multi-multi-ball!
cool story bro.
Well. through a quick google search, I was able to find the story, and a number of people are talking about guns and toxic masculinity. I'm actually laughing at the concept of toxic masulinity. Here's what the geekfeminism wiki defines it as:

"Toxic masculinity is one of the ways in which Patriarchy is harmful to men. It refers to the socially-constructed attitudes that describe the masculine gender role as violent, unemotional, sexually aggressive, and so forth."

So, it's feminist bullshit about men being inherently destructive and evil. People are using this 1 event of a piece of shit being a piece of shit to justify the bullshit concept of "toxic masculinity."

It's extremely unlikely that someone's gender decides how violent, unfeeling, or generally evil they are. Those aspects of personality take a number of factors, not just "Are they male or female?" It makes me mad when anybody goes and says that 1 gender is inherently something (such as all men being evil, or all women being whores) or any group for that matter. Reducing people into groups fucking sucks, i mean, they are individuals, and not the exact same as someone else.

At least in this case, it's more likely that the kid was influenced by his surroundings (friends, family) and just became a whiny, spoiled brat, who felt like no one liked him. There are men like this, and women like this, so deal with it. Gun control might be something to talk about in reference to this, but "toxic masculinity" certainly is not.

All right, rant about bullshit is over. If someone wants, I can link to the articles that I found about the incident, since they are only a google search or two away.
