Castle Grimm [A Fantasy Drama]

Geoffrey Delshire

Name: Geoffrey Delshire

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance: About 5'8", and rather average in stature. His hair is a mixture of auburn and blonde, swept back and touches the bottom of his neck. He has a young, eager look, with cold, pale blue eyes and his fair share of scars along his body. Along his right arm are tribal tattoos that trace his heritage back to his ancestral residence in the forests far to the west.

Personality: Geoffrey has an air about him that often gives off a strange, almost primal animosity, yet when conversing with him, he's quite charismatic and seems almost playful with his speech. Despite this, when it comes to his work as one of the Confederacy's lead tacticians, the air around him chills and stills, thousands of calculations flooding through his brain as he determines the best course of action. So, a good rule of thumb for most of the men that work under him is to avoid him when at work, lest suffer his wrath, or drink merrily with him when he hasn't a map in front of him.

History: Born and raised in his hometown of Delshire, one of the last beacons of civilization in the West before the impenatrable forests begin, Geoffrey often ran rampant in the woods in his youth, his entire upbringing based upon his village's ancient traditions of the Wild Growth and Wood Spirits. Before his youth had come to a close, a proclamation had come to Delshire, demanding representatives from the village to report to the nearest city for the miltary draft. Geoffrey left alongside friends he had grown up beside, hoping to make a name for himself. After only a short time in the force, his superiors quickly recognized him for his extraordinary skills in planning and tracking, as well as his knowledge of strategy. And in only a few months, Geoffrey of Delshire boosted through the ranks and was placed alongside men who had worked their whole lives to be where they were.

Side of the Fight: White Rock Confederacy

Why I fight: When the news of the call to arms had touched his ears, Geoffrey's instincts kicked in - not only the thought of fame, but of exploring the world beyond his village gave him plenty of reason to leave his home. Geoffrey doesn't have any particular feelings toward the Onxyians, but they are his superiors' enemies, so he is willing to fight against them.

Skills: Beyond exceptional strategic capabilities, which got him the position of tactician, Geoffrey is also rather skilled with using the sword, and dangerous when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Despite his average stature, his time growing up amidst the woodlands and other boisterous boys, he had to learn how to fend for himself, and can best near any man in a brawl.

Appearance:
Stocky, about 5'10" and built strongly, a bit larger than the average man of his height. Typically has his hands stained with whatever machine he's been prodding around with that day in the garage. Short black hair and bright blue eyes, he has a short stubble of a beard across his face, caused more often by his laziness most mornings, rather than fashion. Across his cheeks are visible scars, usually caused by odd engine failures that burnt or cut his skin. Other than that, he's actually a rather handsome guy to look at, and often wears flannel shirts and blue jeans.

Personality:
Almost always a cheery guy, Albin loves to drink and spend time with his cars, trucks, lawnmowers, or whatever may need fixing at the moment. Whenever he isn't toying with something, he'll be found studying how to run a business - he plans on opening up an auto shop when he moves back to his hometown. Though he isn't necessarily the brightest bulb, he'll shine the longest, with his mental patience and physical endurance in optimal condition. It's also pretty noteworthy that he can be pretty boisterous with his speech and loves making conversation, but has no experience and little know-how in order to have an intimate discussion with someone.

Other info:
He has no siblings, and his father was a mechanic like Albin, and his father before him. Supposedly some of his ancestors worked steel for ancient Vikings, but that's all speculation that Albin's grandfather would tell Albin, along with other tall tales when he was a little boy.
