Torn Across the Rift

Having completed his mission to capture the inter-planetary criminal Testio Vronin, Alex was headed back to Xela Reiva to prepare to take his place as part of the Reivan Council. On his ship he felt a strange sense of foreboding. "Crena have the ship scan for any -" Blackness erupted all around him and it felt as if he was being ripped to pieces and being put back together over and over. He went to move his hands to the ship's controls but they seemed to move in every direction at once. He started to feel as though he were falling sideways as if the gravitational compensators had failed and the ship was making erratic turns. When he should have hit the wall he seemingly passed through it. That was when he blacked out.

Alex woke up shivering. He was lying on his back in the snow which did little to protect him from the rocks right under it. His head felt like someone had hammered on his skull from the inside trying to get out and had nearly succeeded. ~Why does this stuff always happen to me?~ he thought as he rubbed his head and got up, " Crena where are we and how did we get here?" Getting no answer he looks down at his chest where Crena is usually hanging from a necklace, seeing nothing panic begins to swell in his chest. He begins to search near the spot he had been laying the swirling swirling snow did not aid his efforts, when he moved snow to look under it the wind blew it right back. Seeing that searching manually was not going to work he attempted to create a large fire to melt the nearby snow, the result was a small flame that barely covered an area larger than his hand.

"What is this, my powers are limited?"

~Alexavier it seems that the seals placed on us at birth have been activated~ came Xavier's mental reply.

Alexander:~Weren't those seals set to protect our power from being stolen?~

Xavier: ~Normally, yes but whatever brought us here must have triggered them~
"Well that is just great. We don't know where we are, our powers are mostly sealed, and Crena is missing."

Xavier: ~Hmm.. to test how much our power is sealed try to create some clones.~
Thinking this a good idea Alex attempts to make clones. " Only two? I should at least be able to make ten."

Xavier: ~They also seem to be weaker than usual~

"Well they should work fine for scouting and searching purposes. You two each take a clone Xavier South head and Alexander head East. We seem to be in some ruins of some kind but be careful making those clones took up more energy than normal and we can't afford not to find out more about where we are or where Crena is. I can sense Crena but cannot determine his distance from us he could be right next to us or a universe away."

Alexander in clone body: "Yeah, yeah look around, no die, find rock"

Xavier in clone body: "This is serious, we don't have time for you to goof off"

Alexander: " Yeah I know, I was just trying to lighten the mood a bit. Well, see you in a bit."

Alexavier: "Be careful you two this place gives me a bad feeling."

As the other two leave Alex notices what looks like the outline of a person near the closest castle wall. He begins to walk over catiously keeping an eye out for any sudden movements.

Xela Reiva

Xela Reiva is one of two twin planets that orbit the star Xelasenno. It's atmosphere and biosphere are very similar to Earth's. It is about 1.6 times the size of Earth.There are 5 continents(Sendai, Olitai, Xelar, Condu, and Hiequa) and 4 Oceans(Cestia, Brendu, Kegna, and Tensai). The planet is ruled by a monarchy set up by the original Reiva Xela after a crisis involving the twin planet Xela Redna. There are two intergalactic factions the Reivan faction which has it's base on Xela Reiva and the Redna faction based on Xela Redna.

Appearance:

Alex is about 6 ft tall with an athletic build. He has short black hair and his skin is tan. His eyes are normally dark brown but in certain situations they look like there is a storm happening in his irises(tip: if you cause this to happen RUN). He has a square jaw, a prominent nose, and a few miscellaneous scars that make him look like a veteran of battle.

Abilities and skills: Describe powers, magic, fighting styles, weapons training unique to your character. I am not just talking’ ‘combat skills’ either, do they like to cook?

Skills

Yes Alex likes to cook, but he enjoys eating more. He has the ability to use Xela which translates to Storm of Unity or Unifying Storm it is basically a fusion of the 7 main elements Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Light, and Darkness though he usually uses Fire, Darkness, and/or Wind. He is able to make clones of himself that are much weaker than his main body and will eventually disappear. He is telekinetic but can't use it without concentrating on the object(s). He is telepathic but can't read peoples minds unless he is allowed to he mostly uses it for communication. He also has the ability to fly and teleport but can't teleport instantly he has to be able to completely concentrate on his intended location and he has to know in what general direction it is. He is very intelligent by human standards but is pretty average where he comes from. He has received extensive training in melee combat and prefers it to ranged fighting.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Well rounded characters have both!

Weaknesses

Killing Alex isn't any harder than killing a highly trained soldier if you can negate his powers or match them.
He is not immune to fatigue in fact if he were to use his powers without rest it would kill him.
He will hold back against an opponent that he thinks is unable to kill him.
He must take time every 2-4 days to gather energy which he automatically does while asleep but doing it while awake is more effective if he does not gather energy he will be unable to use his powers and can even die.
Alex has seals that will activate to keep his powers from being stolen. These seals render most of his abilities unusable or extremely weakened.

Equipment Requests: If you are dragged through a hole in the universe you might not be able to take everything with you... but list here what you usually carry or what you might like to have.

History

Alexavier's life was different from the start. When he was born and given his soul crystal it revealed his name and it's own as Alexavier and Crenaxela respectively. It also revealed that Alex had three personalities and was destined to be the Reiva Xela. The Reiva Xela is one of two masters of Xela that lead the two factions. While anyone can learn to use Xela only the Reiva and Redna Xelas can master it. His father Coran the King of Xela Reiva determined that his son would be treated just as any other child with an elemental affinity on the planet. While this was his father's wish Alex still had powerful seals placed on him that would activate and seal most of his power if someone were to try to steal them. When Alex reached the age of 4 he was sent to the off-planet Veneran Academy where all children born with an elemental affinity from both factions were sent. There he met the other children destined to be the other seven Reivas and eight Rednas of the future. He learned and trained there for 10 years before he was sent home. For the next two and a half years he fought in the military and became a highly decorated soldier. When he hit 17 the time had come for him to take his place on the Reivan Council as the leader. As he was returning from a mission to Xela Reiva for the ceremony the Rift took him.

Personality:
Alex has three personalities Alexavier(main), Alexander, and Xavier

Alexander

Alexander is a bit violent. He prefers solving disagreements with force and is extremely confident in his own abilities. He is bold, hotheaded, and is an extreme extrovert.

Xavier

Xavier is almost the complete opposite of Alexander. If there is a disagreement force is a last resort. He is introverted, analytical, and makes calculated decisions.

Alexavier

Alexavier is between the other two's personalities. He will use force to back up his words if he thinks it will help his position. He is confident in his abilities but doesn't rush in blindly. He is outgoing and friendly, unless you get his bad side(aka threatens someone her cares about) in which case he is terrifying and he will stop at nothing to protect those he cares about. He is feircely loyal to his friends. He will help people without reason other than that it is the right thing to do.

Adding Affili to the list of people who've never been to a boy's school :p. Why would this give less drama anyway, like no IC romance things (pretty sure that Katniss Everdeen expy and the vampire were heading that way by their other games)? Could be gay and bi and etc though. Some of us are aliens too :p. Space has its own social norms, with blackjack and hookers.
