The molarity of pure water is 55.5 mol/L. Is it just me, or is that number super satisfying?

I find I'm much more productive when I make a list of check marks, then write whatever I end up doing next to them.

I always either have lots of inspiration but no motivation, or tons of motivation and no inspiration. I'm not sure which sucks more.

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. I mean everybody. All of the people in the whole world, I mean everybody — no matter how dull and boring they are on the outside. Inside them they’ve all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds… Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands, maybe.”

Onyx was a little confused at what he said, but she was distracted from answering him by finally locating the leader of the group of scouts gathered nearby. The group was surrounded by another group of those who were saying goodbye to them for now, and standing slightly apart from all them was the leader. Onyx motioned for Tarentek to follow her as walked up to them.

"Greetings Mox'lin. Harp'la sent Tarentek and I with rations for your mission." Onyx bowed slightly as he noticed her and he nodded in response. She watched him for a moment, but if he had any reaction to Tarentek, she didn't see it. He called out an order to the scouts in his group and they all lined up. Onyx looked at Tarentek for a moment and told him what to do. "Start passing out your bundles to each of them, and I'll follow with mine. Remember to save one for Mox'lin, the leader receives rations last."
@Mokley I'm still here, If that's what you're asking.
Onyx kept leading Tarentek while they talked. "Yes, it is very personal, but it is more special because of the presence of so many in the tribe. As for my rival, I believe I know who it might be." Onyx paused for a moment. "The rivals have to agree to the bond as well, because they may see someone else as their rival. The point of the bond of blood is to tie those two together with a promise that no matter the affairs between them, they will always work together for the good of the tribe."

They got to the end of the bridges, and now only had to find the scouting group. As Onyx looked around, she asked Tarentek a question. "You say you have celebrations for many different things, what are they like? Most of our rituals have a set purpose, so they follow a strict pattern and tradition that we rarely ever change."
Onyx looked at Tarentek, confused. "You think Onyx sounds better? I've never thought of distinguishing the names like that. I've always thought of Bri'nx as better because it would show more respect when someone called me that than if they were to simply call me Onyx. I suppose most people's First names would sound better than the contraction of the two." Onyx started walking to the bridge to the east. "Come on, we can't just stand here."

Onyx explained about the coming of age ritual as simply as she could as they walked over to the bridge. "The easiest way to explain it is to say that it is a ritual, but the largest player in it is the people and Olias. All those who are ready are in the center of a circle made up of everyone in the nest who was able to attend and witness. The ritual is lead by the leader of the tribe, and it involves the reintroduction of the person into the tribe with their second name and path, sealed by a bond of blood with your greatest rival in the tribe."

When they got to the bridge, Onyx paused to finish explaining. "After that point the ritual turns into a sort of test of skills between all those who were just reintroduced, intending to show the ability they already have to fulfill the role that is their path. Depending on the role, the test is very different to each person."
Onyx smiled before answering. "Yea, I told her. I figured that if I introduced you to her along with some good news, she wouldn't react too badly." Onyx had to think for a moment about his next question. "Well, I'm not sure if you should be calling me Onyx now. Yes, once I come of age anyone who is younger than me or of a lower status than me, who isn't a friend or family, will call me by Bri'nx. Anyone who is of a higher status or is an elder, along with my friends and family, would still call me Onyx." Onyx paused a moment and looked at the horizon to the west, away from the sun. "As an Outsider I suppose no one really minds whether or not you follow this rule. Depending on how old you are you could call me either name, I'd answer to both."
Onyx sighed. Not everyone could be as kind as a merchant, and Harp'la was a fine example. "Yes Harp'la, this is weird for you. No need to get overly excited, yet." Onyx walked up to Harp'la and whispered in her ear for a moment, and showed her the new white mark on her palm. Harp'la's eyes widened, at first with confusion and then with surprise. Before Onyx could stop her Harp'la had her in an embrace, not like the symbol of a promise Onyx had done with Tarentek, but more as one between friends.

"Congratulations Onyx! Or should I call you Bri'nx now?" Harp'la spoke, laughter in her eyes. Onyx slowly shook her head and was about to speak when Harp'la asked a more serious question. "Who else have you told dear?"

Onyx stepped out of the embrace, and smiled at Harp'la. "You are the third Elissic to know. The first was a spirit of Olias, who told me, and I was the second to know." Onyx laughed a little. "I intend to tell my father some time today, possibly during my errands if they bring me close enough to him." A slight pause, and Onyx continued. "Which, I still need to receive my errands. That is mostly why I am here, Harp'la."

As Onyx had thought, the good news of her hearing that Onyx had found her path had completely changed Harp'la's demeanor. She no longer looked at Tarentek with anger or mistrust, only happiness. Now, because her first meeting with him is acquainted with a happy memory, she shouldn't ever be so towards him ever again. Harp'la snapped out of her stunned daze and rushed to a pile of packages in the back corner of the room. She took a few that were about the same size and handed them to Tarentek, going back to get a similar group and handing those to Onyx.

"Well, you got here at just the right time. Those are rations to be given to the scouting groups getting ready to leave at the top of the east mountain. Each Scout and Sentry gets one package, if there are any left just bring them back here, and if there are not enough tell the extras to wait for their own orders." Harp'la explained with laughter in her eyes.

Onyx answered her with a smile and a slight bow. "Understood Harp'la. Goodbye for now." Harp'la said good bye as well, and then Onyx left, motioning for Tarentek to follow her out of the building.

I just posted, I didn't mean to be silent for so long, but I like to wait for at least three other people to post in between my posts. I'm starting to think I should just lower it to two. :p

So, who is going with Lexi? :)
There was a long silence in the room after Monokuma had disappeared, while Lexi wanted to say something to the group, she couldn't bring herself to speak. She noticed that the doors had reopened after the bear left, and decided to go exploring. Before she left though, she addressed the group. "Well, would anyone like to go exploring with me? The map on this thing," She held up her e-handbook, "Is useful and all, but I'd prefer not to have to rely on it for very long."

Lexi smiled at the group, slipping easily into her mascot demeanor. She jumped off of the stage and skipped to the nearest door, then turned to the group before she actually walked out the door. "Well? Who's coming with me!"
Onyx nervously returned Tarentek's smile before answering him. "Well, there's no way to find out unless we go in." She walked into the building then, motioning for Tarentek to follow. It was a large building, at least from the outside. Inside, there were piles of packages, building materials, and barrels of sand in the main hallway, while the rooms that branched off of it were only slightly better.

"Each room is where people from the different groups would go to receive their duties. As I am yet to come of age, but I am no longer a child, I go to this room." Onyx said as she stopped next to the door to a room halfway down the hallway. Not hesitating a moment, she opened the door and neatly shoved Tarentek in ahead of her, greeting the Elissic in the room as she did so.

"Hello, Harp'la! I brought someone with me today, he'll be tagging along with me." Onyx spoke loudly, purposefully spooking the Elissic so as to keep her from reacting to the surprise of seeing Tarentek. Her trick worked. As Harp'la turned to return Onyx's greeting, her eyes simply registered her added surprise by widening, rather than her doing something that would have made one of the other Elissics worry about her, like screaming.

"Herald of Heillias! Onyx, what- why? Why is a..." Harp'la stumbled on her words for a moment before she was able to speak clearly again. "Why do you have an outsider with you?" She stepped towards Onyx, but was looking right at Tarentek. "What do you mean he'll be 'tagging along' with you? Is this the outsider that was in your father's report two nights ago?"
