@BlueAjah Not well. xD Not well at all. >.>

Wes woke up in the back seat of his limousine, half a glass of Dom Perignon in the cup holder next to him. Stirring, he checked his phone and saw it was only 7am. Only 2 hours had passed since he had dropped Amethyst off back at the Honey Pot and fallen asleep. Sweeping a hand through his hair, he reminisced on his night with his lovely Amethyst, remembering their wonderful dinner and the look on her eyes when he brandished his gift for her. No doubt she absolutely loved it. Even if she protested a few times at first, he still got his way in the end. With a sigh, he took the glass of wine and downed it, only to be hit with a strange craving: coffee. It was his birthday, so he couldn't afford to be tired right now. It was a family tradition to party as hard and as long as you could on events like this!

Tapping a button beside him, he rang up the driver in the front seat, who was also probably sleeping. "Marty, wake ye ass up! I needs me some coffee right now. I ain't gonna be sleepin' all day." his voice rang through an intercom, jolting the driver up from his nap. Not a moment later, the limo's engine roared to life and started off. In the meantime, Wes lounged in his seat, grabbing a remote and turning on a TV that flipped down from the ceiling. From a compartment underneath his seat, he pulled out the bulky form of an original Xbox controller, and, being the retro gamer he was, started up a game of the Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Nothing began the morning like the riveting and unique landscape of Vvardenfell. Sure, the graphics were dated, but that did nothing to stop the nostalgic feelings.

"See that's why I don't fuckin' roll Khajit. I ain't about that skooma life." the purple hair man muttered to himself. A few minutes later and Wes had already murdered a cat-like humanoid after trying to steal a key from its inventory. Unfortunately, his Redguard Battlemage's Sneak skill wasn't high enough and he had failed his pickpocket check, which prompted the skooma-addicted Khajit to attack him. He spent another minute simply smacking the fallen miscreant's body around with his character's long sword.

"Sir, we've arrived." his driver called back. Without so much as saving his game, Wes threw his controller onto the seat and headed out the limo's door. Marty had taken him to his favorite local, organic coffee shop. Unfortunately, by the looks of it, there was a rather long line. This man didn't wait for nobody though! Striding in, the first thing he noticed was a fine looking blonde woman with an ass so plump and juicy that he immediately wanted to make a feast out of her. 'Mm! Breakfast! were the words that went through his head before he threw an around her waist. Sure, Amethyst was the love of his life, but he wasn't the faithful sort of man. Being the assertive man he was, he walked the girl and himself to the front of the line. "Outta the way. Birthday boy coming through!" he called, clearing a path for himself and his forced companion. Most of the patrons did as they were told, knowing exactly who the man was.

"Okay, lemme get a large caramel frappuccino with those little chocolate flakes and lots of whip cream. Actually, make the chocolate flakes spell out 'Happy B-Day, Wes'. And sprinkles. That's always a nice touch, y'know? Oh, and get little miss blondie here whateva she wants. She's a VIP today, y'know?" Wes ordered, making a simple order needlessly complicated. For once, he wasn't wearing his sunglasses and his hazel eyes glared at the woman's form. The blonde didn't have much of a chest, but she was definitely no butter face. In fact, he'd go so far to say she was pretty damn cute, especially in that floral dress of hers. His signature cheesy grin flashed onto his face in greeting, squeezing her waist in an attempt to say that everything was going to be all right.

"You looks like a real sweet girl. How'd you like to spend the day with me, sweetheart? I'll treat you like you never been treated." He told the blondie as their drinks were being prepared, leaning against the counter like he owned the place. The Underboss stared at her alluringly and silently hoped to bring her onto the magical adventure that was his birthday.

Cynthia Nocturne

"That lady over there is giving me the willies..." a brunette guard mumbled to his red haired partner. Both of the lightly armed men gazed at the white haired woman striding down the streets of Ylisstol, clad in a illustrious, black dress and wearing a fierce expression. The eerie sound of rattling shackles emanated with every step she took, something that perturbed the duo immensely. Unbeknownst to the guardsmen, the source of the noise came from two small, slender chains beneath each of her lengthy sleeves that held two tomes dangling, freeing the woman's hands and concealing her prized possession. "Aye. Somethin' about 'er is menancin'. Best not bother 'er." the other man replied to his comrade, chills running down his spine. The two guards kept watching her until she was out of sight, but neither dared halt her advance.

Cynthia paid no mind to the leering idiots. She was returning from Plegia after a failed attempt to join in on the so-called Sword of Naga's expenditure against the remains of Grima's cult. Too many times she had been mistaken for one of the Fell Dragon's acolytes, which had resulted in a number of attempts against her life, all of which backfired. Moreover, the Crusaders were particularly fond of destroying any and every relic that may have had some dark source of power, much to Cynthia's annoyance. Her trek had been nothing but a disaster from the start, but now she was back in the bustling city of Ylisstol. She could enjoy a short recess in her sanctuary until the time was ripe for her to continue her quest for overwhelming power.

However, the Dark Mage's eyes narrowed in extreme displeasure when she saw what was happening to her beloved, crumbling sanctuary. The once tranquil ruin of the Shepherd's garrison was being rebuilt, the once wild plant overgrowth had been trimmed, and miscreants were bumbling around the barracks' once glorious grounds. What was the meaning of this?! This monument to the past was typically empty and avoided, the perfect place for a Dark Mage such as Cynthia to practice her dark arts. But now, it was infested with lice and being transformed into something it should not be. Spotting the tall, barbaric warrior and his assumed sword-faring sidekick by the front door, her long legs took her forward. The noise that the chains within her sleeves made her approach less than subtle.

"You imbeciles, the Shepherd's garrison has long been a testament to Chrom and his companions' ardor. I will not stand idle while you and your goons desecrate the greatest reminder of their actions. Your men and yourself will disperse from here and now, regardless of where your orders come from, lest you wish to incur my wrath." her notably soft, mousy voice threatened the much larger man. Though Cynthia's tone was not especially sinister, her face was expressionless, her sea green orbs cold and icy, and her right hand grasped a purple tome hidden from sight. She was clearly not intimidated by the barbarian or the swordsman, and every ounce of her was prepared for war. After all, they should be the ones that feared her.

As she stood there, glowering at the two, it was quite apparent that Cynthia hadn't heard any of the rumors that surrounded the reformation of the Shepherds in her travels.

@Eisenhorn@BlazeGamma
@Apollosarcher Should have a post up today. Hopefully in the next few hours. The past couple days have been pretty busy so apologies for the wait!
@BlueAjah Perhaps Wes should intervene in Claire's life... Shake things up a bit. xD
I'm surprised Fates managed to hold onto its T rating with some of the things they got away with, to be honest.
If it's of any consolation, I'd just like to say you're all invited to Izual and Ludelle's wedding! It will be a high octane, action-packed adventure starring Megelis as the Priest of Pain. After the ceremony, there'll be a reception/battle royale. You don't wanna miss this! Kids' tickets still just $5!

Note: Everybody is required to wear a poncho. Blood splatter will be a serious problem.
Just Izual being Izual, for better or worse. Let's hope this doesn't end with him going back to the medical bay. xD
It was fated. Christian definitely set Ludelle and Izual up.

Ludelle Glowren, Izual Anzhela

Day 3, Noon

“Hello there. My name is Ludelle, what is yours?”

The words came out from an Elven woman, who was a bit shorter than the Elves Izual was used to seeing. His newly restored eyes took her in, noting her extended hand, gracious smile, and her decorative dress. Unfortunately, the Hellspawn was woefully unprepared for such an encounter. He had spent a great deal of the morning exercising extreme caution at this wedding and had purposefully avoided the opposite sex, for any social interaction at all would require him to follow a strict set of rules and possibly lasso him into an arranged marriage.

'Remember, compliment her and smile. Be warm and friendly, but not overbearing. Stand tall and confident, and make sure she notices you!'

A little over a year ago, these rules were given to him the one time he had gone to a wedding, that of a great nobleman's. Ariadne, his late mother, had dragged her son there in an attempt to plot a marriage between Izual and the nobleman's sister so that they might be better protected against the Hellspawn's father. Unfortunately, that night ended up a disaster when Izual drank too much, blacked out, and was accused of deflowering the nobleman's sister. He didn't remember any of that, just the memories of his mother and himself being chased out of town.

From that night on, he had thought of weddings as events where people get married and schedule for others to be married, where one mistake would have you sentenced to death. He wasn't exactly sure how the engagements were made, but someone was pulling the strings. Right now, the fact this woman was approaching told him that someone had paired him and her together, which meant an accord had been struck. The poor man knew nothing of the reality of the situation: that of simply a woman introducing herself to him for no other reason than to strike up a conversation. Nonetheless, Izual steeled himself and braved the challenge set before him. If this was the woman that the higher powers willed him to be with, then the Knight had no other choice. Though he knew he was a flawed man, he would not fail this challenge!

"Ludelle... That's a delightful name. My name is Izual Anzhela." he responded to the Elf in a surprisingly intelligent manner, a coy grin spreading on his face. Gently, the fancily dressed Hellspawn took her hand and, with a flourishing bow, put his lips to the reverse side of her palm, careful not to gore her with his long, black horns. Standing back upright he dared to continue his romantic onslaught. "I hope you don't mind me saying, but... You have an amazing smile." His comment came out like pure honey, and for the first time in his life, he actually thought he had been successfully 'romantic'. Surely his mother would be proud.

Hopefully this would be enough to sate the higher powers, Christian, the Masters and Mistresses, or whoever they may be, and show he was devoted to this orchestrated engagement. There would be no screw ups this time!
