There's a suggested time scale? This is the first I'm hearing of this.

Every five pages is a month. Currently it is mid-July, 1980. What Aaron is talking about is that, since it takes us a while to clear five pages, time in Precipice moves waaayyy slower than time in the real world. In the year and a half we've been in the RPG, we've only covered two and a half months.

But, as Evan says, the month system is just a thing we pretend exists to make Aaron feel good, so don't worry about it too much, because the only real effect of the system is to make shit happen very quickly in the Precipice world.

The most infamous example of how this time system works is the North American War timeline, as demonstrated in this handy dandy gif.

...and it is 1970 there because we've had a habit of occasionally skipping time. So the periods in PoW that were actually RPed were January 1970 to April 1971, May 1976 to August 1977, and Febuary - March and May - July of 1980. Also don't worry too much about that, because with the African War and the evolution of our RPing styles, I don't see a timeskip in our immediate future.

Also, did Byrd discover meth? That posting rate makes Aaron look like Hugs.
Three posts in twenty four hours. That's pretty impressive.
I woke up, got pocket dialed by my grandma, and now am eating a handful of gummy livesavers for breakfast.

In role models 11 yrs ago Forum: Spam Forum
i try to base my personality off of an aggregate of everyone i ever meet. so really, everyone is my role model.
I'll toss a few of the things I have labelled as 'Instrumental' on my mp3 player. A few of these aren't... really instrumental, but I guess my definition includes "I don't know what the righteous fuck they are saying but it sounds pretty."

None of these are really long... because I don't have really long songs on my mp3 player. That'd get annoying. Off the top of my head, the only long-ass music that might not be an obvious choice is the Planet's Suite.
26 here. Don't do 1x1's though.
