Im used to measuring kinetic energy in joules, so im afraid i don't quite get what those tons actualy equal to. Is it TNT equivalent?
Not much. New guy joined, but he won't post 'till four days later, as he is busy ATM. Derpenstein is creating a new character to join the fray. The rest is all IC.
Every time i get guns in a dream, it's outright nightmare scary or grim and uncorfomtable. Last time i got stabbed in the kidney. ;(
Well, he does have pretty weak weapons. Like, Rauchnaut wouldn'tt even wince at a Desrt Eagle round, and the ninjato and knife aren't specifed as being made of high-durability material, so most characters here could snap 'em in half with ease.
BTW, vibroblades aren't actualy legit weapons if you apply blade harmonics to them. When you slash, you want to lose as little of the initial energy as possible, since the blade acts as a wedge that is meant to displace matter, not transfer energy to it. But vibroblades, while they do imply a cutting motion, they also GREATLY increase energy loss through friction (look up ultrasonic welding to see what i mean), rather, winning over a normal blade only when you dont have enough space to properly accelerate the weapon. Vibroblades would be great for CQC, but they most likely will not rival a normal blade in slashing power. A flanged vibromace, on the other hand, would be great, since the vibrations will only supplement its primary function, effectively softening, shattering or even liquefying matter, increasing the effectivness of the mace's blunt trauma.
Their learder was quite the rough man. Good. Those were the kind that wouldn't back off from danger, and considering that intelligence reported relatively weak enemy forces, they would risk nothing with a bull rush tactic; morever, Kiril were sure that Gath wouldn't let the team down if they were actualy ambushed.

Heaving his gun - a full-auto grenade launcher equipped with top-notch fire control systems and loaded with 20 CQC thermobaric grenades - onto his shoulder, and letting his coilgun LGM sidearm around on its straps at waist level, he followed Gath into their air transport.
"...consider this job training."

Training, huh? Kiril smiled to himself, and then emptied the glass in one gulp, finishing breakfast. This would be a good chance for test a to see how well he will fare against the paranormal. The last thing he wanted was to end up dead the first day just due to his lack of experience, but judging by the information availabe, this mission was pretty safe to take. Could it be trap? It could. But most likely, the paranormal wouldn't bother slaughtering voluteer rookies over their advance in Tehran.

Either way, this was his chance.
