Hey, did you mention combat in that post of yours? The arena's pits are starving for new blood! Whenever you'll feel like participating in some good ol' non-story driven face hammering, feel free to join.

Title: THE HUNT
Genre: Gothic Fantasy/Sci-fi
Rating: PG-13
Player count: 10-20
Category: Casual/Arena

Misclaneous details: Season - autumn, winter; Location - a Gothic-esque megapolis, closer to a large fantasy city or simply a modern day one with a great amount of presrved buildings of the past - such as St. Petersburg - in the supervised regions (more greenery and richly decorated architecture), but akin to a dark cyberpunk ghetto in the more wild parts of it. Neighboring wildlife may be included as well.

Setting: conflict is rising between the several ancient families, bringing back to life the long forgotten tradition of the Hunt. They pit their mightiest forces against each other: some send specialy trained assasins to kill the key figures in opposing clans, and other have warriors dispatch them in their turn.

Plot: the players manhunt each other, swinging swords around, guns blazing, magic flashing. As the story goes, the clans themselves can be used to spice up the story, bringing in cunning ploys and revealing dark, grim secrets.

Avilability: Unlimited

(I really want to join "Staring Back With Chrome Eyes", but i am a nub that doesn't high casul.)
The mage's preventive measures weren't even ready when Sev had already sent the bat rocketing towards him. Vos clenched his teeth - he were a dead man if that hit him in the head - but the next second, he already knew he were safe. The first swing taken at him had shown his the maximum range of the bat, and now, his wit and trained eye pieced that together with the biker's movement, revealing its trajectory just before it would reach him. Truth they say - the more information you have, the easier it is to make the right decision, and instead of trying to block or spray Sev with acid, Vos sunk underneath the bat, and then, lifting himself off the ground the slightest bit, pushed off with his arms, adding two Pulses on top of it, sliding a few more feet away. There indeed no time to spare with such an opponent, so, without hesitation, he hopped, first into a crouching position and then back to his battle stance.

Spells still being his only advantage, Vos would retreat into the shadows, luring Sev, and then cast Black and White on him, leaving his enemy in nigh pitch black darkness.
Kiril frowned. "Sergant Gath. I have requested a real-time data feed from the cameras installed to our armor in order to observe the situation. Something seems wrong over there - i've looked through the Paracom database, and i must say that several enemy units look like nothing i have seen before," - he said, hoping that Goliath would change his mind.

"Assasin, confirm contact with unidentified enemy forces!"

Give them you love.
Well, what Ruro said, and a few tips from me. First, remember than the opponent can always redirect the sword's momentum and throw a new strike in response to a dodge, so outmaveureving the attack doesn't guarantee that you won't get butchered by the next. Then you also have stay wary of any pommel strikes, kick, headbutts and ect., since a combination of those can put a great deal of distance between you and also make you vulnerable to any follow up attacks. And while the sword's speed indeed decreases the closer you are to the hilt, it still remains a bladed weapon, so there are quite a few way to harm with it even then, such as a pull-cut. Blocking also doesn't render the weapon useless, as one can slip the sword over you block. Last, but not least, keep in mind that if your opponent is allowed to move away from you, any advantage is immediately lost.
I'll be posting soon. Been busy the past few days as well and had even less free time than expected.
Aaron, while i sure ain't the most exeperienced artits around, i still spotted a few anatomical errors in your drawing of a Satyr. While i may not be right, due to my aformentioned lack of skill, even from such a perspective, looks too wide. Escpecialy considering that she is a woman. And second, which i am completely sure about, is the stomach. It has no mass whatsoever to it. Even if the abdomen is flexed, to support the body, it wont be flat in such a position, a bump being created by the intestines pulled down by gravity to the lower part of the abdomen. Making it more round should make it look more natural.

But again, i may be mistaken, so you checking that yourself by finding some refrence would be better than just listening to me.
