Hello.
I have been planning a RP for the last Year and a half, and i'm hoping to do it here.

Its set in a city, in the middle of the last country untouched after a cataclysmic event known as the six minutes war. Much of the economy of the city revolves around uncovering pre-war materiel, ranging from simple music records to advanced technology. The country composes of a single huge city of 200 million people, with several hundred smaller settlements surrounding it, providing the food, water and resources used to keep the city running.
The city is controlled by a plutocratic government, known as the new order. They have ruled the people with a iron fist since the day of their formation. Since then, they have devolved into a corrupt group of sociopaths, destroying all who stand in their way while lifelessly attempting to show a image of benevolence. Resistance groups were common, but often distrusted each other, resulting in a lack of actually damage to the oppressive regime.
Eight years ago, a group of nine people, known only as "The Cabal" brokered an alliance between the strongest resistance cells, forging a new group, known as "Utopia." Instantly, Utopia began to launch a campaign against the New order, sabotaging operations, assassinating high ranking personnel and recruiting the masses to rise up.
But, it all came to an end almost as quickly as it started. Seven Utopia Personnel kidnapped the child of a high ranking officer of the New Order Military. When she refused to give into the demands, they murdered the child in cold blood during a attempted rescue operation. This revolted the people, leading to mass denouncing of Utopia.
The New Order took their chance and launched attacks on now known Utopia hideaways. Several hundred Utopia personnel were captured, with the leaders being executed. This fragmented Utopia, causing it to devolve into the many warring resistance groups that it previously composed of.
Eight years later, the groups are still attempting to fight against the New Order, although they are hardly effective. The memories of the murder still hang in the minds of many people, preventing another organised resistance movement. However, out of the many Utopia officers captured, none of them were found to be members of the cabal...

So yeah. I could explain the setting further, but i don't really see the point unless i need to make a OOC. The story is quite detailed, and i intend to split the RP into several parts.
The setting is dark. The resistance cells are little more than vicious gangs who fight the New Order simply out of blind hate, not caring if they get civilians in their way. Even groups devoted to helping people are not afraid to murder one innocent to save five or ten.

The players may play as either members of the many resistance factions, or personnel of the new order. I will also allow a few people to play as members of the cabal and the New Order High Command, although these spaces are highly limited. Characters in the resistance can range from the leaders of minor resistance cells, to simple foot soldiers.
The RP will begin in the Headquarters of one of the smaller, but higher profile resistance cells, after an mysterious man collapses and dies from a gunshot wound on their doorstep. This seemingly tragic but unfortunately common event will soon unfold and result in the RP's story line, revolving around attempting to rebuild Utopia and take the New Order down!
However, New Order agents have been watching...

Even with the sci-fi elements, i'm hoping to keep this fairly realistic. So no superpowers or anything like that.
Oh, and this RP is rated Mature. Its dark, violent, foul-mouthed and everything in between. Its not completely pitch black though. There are a few lighthearted themes.
One of the biggest points of this RP is that morality is not black and white. You can be a saint and work for the new order, or a irredeemable monster that fights for the resistance, so don't let that get in the way of making a character. There are good and evil people on both sides.
