While waiting for the hedgehog to respond, Zhang perked up at the horned ones saying something about all humans being all but instinct. He felt a pit in his stomach and began to worry if perhaps Team Flare had been successful in this insane mission. Then he looked back at the human in the lab coat who pointed a weapon at him. "I would rather you put your weapon away." He said to him and now held the staff in front of him, preparing himself to block or dodge anything shot at him.

Things had gotten out of hand very quickly.
Zhang looked between the trolls and the metal one calling them 'Xenos' and speaking of an 'Imperium of man.'. Realizing he should have done so before, the Lucario closed his eyes and focused his aura to his eyes. With his Aura Sight, he saw that the metal thing was merely a suit and there was a human inside. Things seemed to make less sense the more he spoke. Perhaps Zhang was not as well traveled as he thought, but he never heard of such a thing as what this human spoke of.

His attention went to the hedgehog and looked him up and down. He finally decided to say something, "Have we met?" He asked the hedgehog, "Somehow you look familiar, but I can't seem to place why."
The first thing Zhang heard over the announcement was someone shouting something about a 'God-Emperor'. When he came to, he noticed a some sort of gargantuan machine-like being aiming what appeared to be a gun at two creatures. He had never seen or heard of whatever pokemon the grey-skinned, horned beings were, but the first and only thing he saw was a metal thing threatening them.

Grogginess notwithstanding, he moved with Extreme Speed and kicked the metal being's wrist in an effort to knock the pistol away and then slammed his paw into its torso as hard as a semi-aura charged Power-up Punch would allow. "Leave them be!" He yelled out telepathically then conjured along bone staff and pointed it at the metal one. He cocked an ear back at the two horned ones behind him. "Are you alright?" He asked then noticed a human in a labcoat firing some weapon at another human. There was the initial impulse to attack him when he noticed the weapon's power didn't seem to actually harm the unconscious man. 'What is this place?' he asked himself.
And here I am.

I'll give this a go:

Name: Zhang Sanfeng (Lucario)
Age: Unknown
Universe: Pokemon
Appearance: Base form, Mega Evolution (Aegislash not included)

Powers:
  • Mastery of Aura:
  • also known as Qi, Ki, or internal energy in other universes; Lucarios are naturally gifted with a heightened affinity to Aura. This manifests itself in the form of energy-based attacks, such as the famous Aura Sphere, heightened senses, including the ability to see auras of other living beings through solid objects and even see their moral alignment, increases physical ability and the ability to communicate through telepathy. There is also the technique of 'Bone Rush' in which a Lucario shapes their aura into the shape of a bone to attack with. Zhang can shape his bones as either a long staff or even shorter batons
  • Type Effectiveness:
  • . Being a Fighting/Steel type Pokemon, Zhang is immune to poison, and resistant to stone, metal, insects, ice/frost, dragons and dark-based attacks.
  • Highest Stats:
  • Zhang has high Special Attack, Physical Attack and Speed stats, in that order. This allows him to dish out large amounts of damage and move very quickly.
  • Above Average intelligence:
  • Pokemon are considered rather intelligent beings in Zhang's world. However, Zhang in particular is very intelligent, able to read (though his paws make writing difficult) comprehend human speech and speak it through his telepathy as well as near-masterful combative tactician.

Weaknesses:

  • Type Weaknesses:
  • As aforementioned, Zhang is a Fighting/Steel hybrid. This also makes him vulnerable to other fighting pokemon, ground and fire-based attacks.
  • Technical Weaknesses:
  • Zhang's fighting style is somewhat linear. While he is capable of making angles or circular movements; it's possible for an opponent to out maneuver Zhang if he's not careful.
  • Lowest Stats:
  • While powerful, Zhang is somewhat lacking in terms of special defense, physical defense and stamina. This means he won't be able to tolerate as much damage as he can dish out.
  • Finite Aura Pool:
  • While Zhang does have a deep aura reserve, it'll run out eventually, especially with repeated and/or sustained use over long periods of time. While Zhang can replenish his aura pool, doing so takes time which can leave him vulnerable.
  • A follower, not a Leader:
  • Zhang spent his entire life subservient to the humans in his before leaving on his journey. While his human companion treated him as a partner, or rather an equal, Zhang typically followed his companion's lead. While Zhang has become capable of looking after himself and making his own decisions, he is not used to being the leader and thus lacks the proper leadership skills (delegation, for example).

Brief Bio: Before he was called 'Zhang Sanfeng', this Lucario belonged to the abbot of an Aura Guardian sect deep in the mountains. One day, the abbot passed away from old age and in his will, left the Lucario a mega stone, with the wish for him to go out and find his path in the world. The Lucario's travels took him across the land, eventually being invited to stay with Korrina at Shalour Gym for a time. During this time, another trainer came, sensing a particularly powerful aura in the trainer, the Lucario became interested in him and decided to join him once learning of his mission to find and dismantle Team Flare. He was then given the name Zhang Sanfeng, after the legendary creator of Taiji Quan

Other: Zhang Sanfeng, despite his origins, will not be limited to the four-move pool typically used in the pokemon games or anime (don't know if the manga does this, but I won't put it passed them). Instead he has a more fleshed out fighting style combining real world martial arts such as Baji Quan, Liu He Ba Fa, Taiji Quan, Hanbojutsu, and Arnis and his natural Learnset.
Yeah. It would be interesting to see a human bound to what would be considered an animal if it is.
Had to update Zhang Sanfeng, included his type effectiveness and weaknesses.

Hello, I've been thinking to get back into the pokemon universe through some roleplaying and I have a couple pokemon I want to do some test battles with. Namely a Blaziken and Lucario. I'm looking to test out the concept of their movesets and their abilities as well as a different training technique in which the trainer teaches them to fight on their own with little to no direction on his part, similar to Mystery cave and another area, but the name is escaping.
I'm working on several characters for a roleplay I want to eventually set up. These are a set of antagonists and Protagonists I'm working on they're as follows bellow:

If interested, please leave a reply to this thread or send me a PM.
Same here, I have a character I need to test out.
