Bio

Wants to RP like an damned maniac, Always being an GM in IRL has left me with intense, unfulfilled desires to be an player myself but the GM side of me seems to crave the control and world building, secondary GM positions wanted and desired with unholy thirst.

Also an unredeemable Tea loving bastard.

2018. Year of darkness
Gambling addiction is a bitch. While tea is still my favorite, started coffee drinking because of unlimited supply of it at workplace, much much easier. Writings getting rusty but imagination is still present. I am ready, WE are ready! Lets RP BUCKO´S!

Holding the railing welded on Ferugs shoulders King124 addressed Thiefs concerns. "Such things are an unfortunate possibility in these lands, If anything has occurred I too hope we are in time to either save or avenge them." He looked downwards, they were close now. At times he wondered what it would be like to be a colossus, have earth tremble at your approach, riding Ferugs broad shoulders he could almost imagine it. But then again all colossi he ever met never seemed to have much going on "between the ears" so to speak, so it might not be such an glorious position after all. He never had thoughts like this while he was under direct human control, puzzling thing to be sure. He wondered If all automatons were the same in this regard, quite possible. "Ah, my friends, we have arrived." "Ferug detect... more power signals east of Ferug... They seem... Good..." "Well then, we simply have to make our introductions loud. Set up our table and open the gates." Without an pause Ferug crashed on its knees again and doors to his innards were opened with a loud hiss. King124 clambered down from his viewing perch on the shoulder and signaled Thief to join him. He set his vocabulator on maximum (which was loud indeed on bodyguard models as their masters were quite fond of flashy introductions, one thing King124 had inherited from them.) "To my automaton kin within and without base codename:*******! I am King124, ruler of land and castles! Neither I nor my compatriots wish you any harm! You all have awakened within 24 hours and are without clear directives I assume? Permit me access within the base and we shall share on what power we have acquired and answer any questions you might have with the best of our considerable knowledge!" After having made his announcement King124 approached the base with arms spread wide, signaling both peace and fearlessness. His aura of confidence barely concealing running of fearful simulations what could be done if this was to be just an huge nest of beasts now.
I know, no worries you didn´t cause me to anguish :D
Gah, forgot about this! Sorry, I'll get to work on something right away!
Haha, thats ok, I´ve had a spot reserved ;)
What no Andys listed in the Bots of war? I feel left out LOL
Androids used in the war basically fall in the category of battlebots as they are in fact human sized synthetic infantry :D But then again I could have included an stealth section in there aswell for units like yours and Cerberus. Well that list is something I made to stave off boredom, not a complete catalogue in all robot types ;)
Danke! Why do I have an ominous feeling about this whole situation though?
It could just be the mysterious nature of Blasted Lands creeping upon us all :D
INSTAURABO POWER TO COMPUTE You lack necessary parts (even with all the surplus scattered across the base) to fix the grenade launcher, or the scanner. But by some miracle you find another, exactly same model of scanner nearby, from the vest of another quite similar battlebot, the robot itself seems to have been cut in half by something very sharp.
THIEF OF BAGDAD POWER TO COMPUTE Just husks of maybe millions artificial lives, like bones picked clean by vultures and desert sands.
King124 scoured base Carbons ground floor quickly, not feeling particular need to explore lower levels from whence the beast had came. Few partially filled powercells were the only fruits of this labor and the king concealed them within his robes to grant as prizes for worthy subjects. He and Ferug werent even nearly as wealthy as King124 led everyone to believe, mainly because he liked having his cell at maximum all times just in case, and the colossi drained extravagant amounts just to move and scan surroundings. But he had resolved that this world would remember him as a gracious ruler, one to never turn down those in need of his guiding radiance. Once he emerged from the base he saw that Ferug and Thief had repaired nearly all superficial damage of the demolition unit. "While to us, robot kind, absence of daylight is but an minor nuisance, we should still make our way towards the other installation before nightfall. I have hope that our newly awakened brethren there will join our ranks and we can journey northwards where supposedly great metallic spires dominate the landscape, so far Zeta-001- has not been quite as profitable an venture as I had initially hoped." Soon the plains bathing in evening sun rang once again with colossal footsteps, the other base was mere 2,5 miles from Carbon and they would be seen and heard long before their arrival there.
I thought I´d take this chance to clarify the usual power structure of the great war, ofcourse there were huge amounts of robots designed to circumvent around this formula to combat specified threats but this is how pure firepower and destruction was usually distributed among robot classes (from top to bottom according to strength, I list only pure warmachines here and human infantry for scales sake.) Low orbit gunships designed to erase whole cities with energy weapons, it is believed that all of these mighty constructs crashed when the device was activated. Colossus class There were very few at first but became more commonplace towards the wars climax, extremely heavy weaponry mainly used for sieging enemy bases and devastate armies in open field battles. Total war models or (TWM´s) The heavy hitters of war, usually height of an building. In middle of war when production was at its highest, nearly all open field battles for land were fought with only TWM´s causing unimaginable destruction and monetary losses. Mobile artillery Basically just moving cannons, extremely slow but with exceptional targeting computers and range of fire. Aerial models Lords of the skies. At the beginning much more conventional aircraft were used, piloted by humans or battlebots until these craft were given AI to fly themselves. Like mobile artillery, those that awaken to this new age wont stay active for long, their main function of flight consumes immense amounts of power and they lack any ability to refuel themselves, there is usually just enough for one last flight... Heavy battlebots Our own Daisy and the Blue Reaper would belong in this category. Size and shape vary greatly among these bots that completely replaced conventional battletanks at the start of great war, indeed first heavy battlebots were simply unmanned tanks. Battlebots, AKA robot infantry Due to their strength and durability, this class fought most battles in the war. Human infantry Squishy, fought only at two points during the war, in beginning supported by the first battlebots, and in the very end fighting for their lives and homes when EVERYTHING was thrown at the enemy in hopes of even a pyrrhic victory.
Heat Jack was still clinging to Xeon III with one hand, and with the other dealt destruction to anyone entering its optimal range. Inside the cockpit Reb Mannings face was set on concentrated frown with beads of sweat forming upon his forehead. He had counted twenty takedowns so far. Those crablike unknowns were easy targets depending on numbers and rush tactics. Rebs plasma rifle cut trough them like warm knife trough butter. Pirates that had appeared mere moments after the assault were considerably tougher with advanced mechas and armaments. It almost made no sense to him as most pirate factions troughout known space mostly used crappy salvage mechas and ancient military surplus. A sense of relief washed over him when he saw one of those crab thingies collide with a pirate mecha obliterating them both. They were victims too it seemed, of this newly released madness. Reb tried several known pirate radio channels at once, not caring if resulting noise sounded like two sea elephants making out. "Wake up you fancy pants! Can´t we duke this out like men after these vermin have been dealt with??!!"
