Thinking it over to myself, and I think it's cool if he's not all combat ready and capable in a fight. His bio says that he believes in nonviolence and peace. I think he would make a great moral compass for the group and share much wisdom to help them all develop if played right.

Also it should be widely seen by natives of Baji that Jiang's name sounds weird, or at the very least question his ancestry. Jiang is a Chinese name while Baji is more Japanese, it should seem odd for that to be his name. So feel free to have trust issues or challenge his Bajin origins.

Spider-Man is very protective and private about his identity. No one on this team should know or would be close enough to him to know. I'm assuming that the player is keeping up with that side of the character. What you did was metagaming. Also you forced yourself on his character by saying that you altered his music prior to this day.

Honestly I think it has just as much of the tone that has been set up already, the world is detailed and it makes you want to make complex chars that can fit within those roles.
