Could Dark have made it worse? Sven thoroughly believed in the Bible, and so the only issue was proving that Genesis was to be taken literally.

Also, Sven, Colossians 3:21: "Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged." Try and find some way to slip this to your dad without him knowing it was you, and then pray that he'll be convicted and try to bond with you or something of that sort.
