I got to it, that's the problem. I'm writing the character POVs now, and it's pretty important that I mark down the trials they each must face. Sera was the only one I had trouble with.

Ooh, I know. I can have it such that Gilda's wings were out of commission for some reason (maybe sprained one in Reno), and then she'll be surrounded by fire that's gaining on her. In my story, zebras are especially resistant to flames, so Sera will have to brave the flames and rescue Gilda. Perfect! Thanks!

I forgot to mention that it's going to be in an African scenario. Sera and her tribe are zebras. Sera's not a fighter. I thought something like tying up Gilda's wings and having her teetering over the edge of a gorge, but that seems forced. At least to Sera watching it; of course it's forced.

He's been in this company for decades and is basically all but a council member. His position actually qualifies as an executive position within that company.

Interesting. My da just works at a warehouse, although he's learning to code in Linux and he's great at fixing computers. Pretty much everything involving computer hardware he's good with, like knowing what hardware to choose when replacing computers, and ridding viruses. Now he can find registry entries for bad programs to completely eradicate them, thanks to me xD

Also I can't think of any ideas for a life-or-death situation. Basically, Sera has a vehement hate for gryphons, and Gilda and Dak use this to come up with a plan that will cause Sera to realise her element: They'll put Gilda in a life-or-death situation, for real, right next to Sera. Sera will have to overcome her hate for gryphons and save Gilda. Dak and Gilda are actually tempting fate with this, like the upstart Gilda is. Unfortunately I can't think of any good scenario.
