For a night Bible study, yeah. At a certain point, the mind begins to lose focus, and the later it is, the worse it is. During the day, sure, ramp it up, but at night, I'd say 45 minutes is kind of overkill on the comprehension skills.

The prayer takes up some of the time also. And a lot of the time is spent on discussion. It actually works out really well.
