I'm being serious. It's pretty frustrating that the only times they can do their stories are either early in the day, when I'm busy with work I have to do, or extremely late at night, when I can't even function. Especially after playing a succession of soccer matches for two nights in a row.

Well I can do my arcs in the Afternoon. In fact, I think I'm the only one who does that. xD

They were based on another story or event, which is what fanfictions are. Based on. Ender's Game wasn't based on another story or event; same for The Giver.

First: I don't think it's literature, but you're overreacting over a silly opinion. One of the Fruits of the Spirit is Self Control, man.Second: I have read fanfiction. Plenty of it.I form my opinion based on the statements of my English teacher (great Christian teacher), and my personal experiences reading fanfiction. They're fan stories, not Shakespeare. Don't get so worked up.

It's not all literature. Most definitely not. I'm getting "worked up" because I care a lot about art, in both the literary and visual form. When I find something that's good literature, even after critically examining it in regards to other, already established good literature, I am compelled to defend its status as actual literature.

By the way, a lot of Shakespeare is in fact fanfiction (or at least parodies) of real life events. :P In fact, the Divine Comedies could be considered fanfictions of the Bible (although the Bible is of course not fiction). The great works of mythology were fanfictions built up from other myths, like the Iliad and Odyssey, and the works that chronicled most of the Greek mythology we have today. :P
