Okay! I'm ready to post it! But, before I do that, I need you, the members of the RP as it currently is, to reserve one Egyptian god each. (No, your characters won't be children of those gods. The god you choose will simply be the god that your character's magical skills will be most related to. Nut is claimed by me. All the others are open. I'll update this post with claimed gods as you post your claims. This is my character:

Aster (whizzball1)

Name: Aster (derived from Astro; named after his blue eyes)

Age: 17

Godly Relation: Nut, goddess of the stars and night sky.

Magical Abilities or Skills: Aster, being fascinated with the night sky from a young age, took to the study of the magic of stars. He can call upon the power of the stars, excelling in light and fire-based spells, but he can also use darkness itself, decaying life using shadow, and other darkness-related spells.

Favoured Weapon(s): A hand telescope which extends into a staff, from which he summons many of his spells. He uses it for melee combat, also.

Skills: Aster excels in hand-to-hand combat, and using his staff. He will use a sword if needed, and is more skilled than average at sword-fighting, but not to the extent of his skill with the staff.
Appearance:
His eyes seem to shine with the light of the stars if you're looking for it.

Personality: Aster is a slick, smug character. During the daytime, he's a fun guy, and great to be around. He's a bit of a player, but don't let that stop you from getting to know him. He's a great strategist, but not a control freak. He'll gladly listen to the ideas of others, and isn't usually snappy or mean about bad ideas.

At night, he takes on a completely different personality. He retains his smugness, but becomes very serious. He won't be inclined toward making jokes or overall lightening the mood, preferring to leave that to others. He doesn't appreciate foolishness in serious situations during this time, however. He becomes more of a commanding character, but still won't go all out controlling. He puts moderation on everything he does during this time, preferring not to go over the top but to do what's needed, and no more.
