Not everyone is into the absurd. I personally find that sort of thing hilarious though. That's real comedy, IMO. Not cracking jokes, or making funny situations, but the absolute absurdity of it all is what really makes me laugh. I can't get enough of Alice.

I just found out that the word "chortle" was actually a nonsense word in that poem. Carroll has his own word!

EDIT: Gimble, another nonsense word, is now what we call the centre of a gyroscope. We used to use gimbal.
