We certainly thought it was. But it turned out in the end that the reason we had thought there was so much blood was because pouring water on blood apparently makes it look like a lot when you wipe it on paper towels. This was two years ago though so everything's fine now.

Her name is Isis. She was originally the frame of a being of ultimate power that Tier 5 was trying to create, until they decided she was flawed and were about to throw her out. David took the frame and, in order to save it, did something like using his and Ma'at's DNA to create DNA for her, to give life to the frame. Something like that. I don't know the exacxt details, but that's the gist of it.
