It is the late Edo Period, the last days of the Samurai. Japanese society is undergoing dramatic changes.

Much has been changed and much has been lost, but the heart of the Samurai remains the same...

Our story opens in Amihama , a city rocked by this turbulent times.

Well after this little monologue I would like to explain what I have in mind :
The story begins with my character and her father, a British merchant. My character had been accompanying her father on his trips to Japan since little so was able to learn japanese and practice it often.

It is during one is this trips they are attacked by pirates near Amihama. My character is pushed off the ship by her father before the ship explodes and manages to swim to the coast of Amihama, she arrives hoping to get help capture the pirates, but Amihama has much more problems than just pirates.

This is where Your character somehow shows up (we have to come up with a good excuse). What I have in mind for your character is that she is the daughter of a recently deceased master of a Dojo that has no students at all and is practically bankrupt.

Raised as a samurai she sees helping my character as something honorable (as well as an opportunity to get some fame and students).

The factions
Amihama is suffering from both internal and external chaos. Among the factions fighting to take control over the city we find:

The Magistrates

This group is the "righteous" ruler of Amihama, under the Chief Magistrate Shinren Kotokami. Thanks to the Magistrates Amihama had ketp for itself a certain level of independency from the Bakufu. However their methods have become very cruel recently and the Magistrates do not hesitate to cut anyone down even if they don't have proof then person is guilty. The people from Amihama are getting tired of them

The Mabushi gang

It was founded long ago to keep alive the principles of chivalry and justice. At some point they were considered a better police force better than the Magistrates. However, with the death of the former leader and and under Hanzaemon Tenzen the gang has turned into a yakuza clan that benefits from gambling dens, extortion, and other shady business like murder. They often run in to fights against the Magistrates since they have the power to face them.

Minor gangs

There are some minor gangs that try to get some money. Sometimes they associate with the Mabushi, sometimes not and cause them trouble

The pirates

These guys work for their own and cause a lot of trouble to the sailors, both japanese and foreign. This causes a lot of friction between the Bakufu and the foreign countries. They have some connections with the Mabushi

The foreigns

There are many foreign countries trying to make money out of trading with Japan. Foreigns can sometimes be seen walking around the docks

The Bakufu (Shogunate)

The Bakufu is trying to find any excuse to take direct control of Amihama, even if it costs blood. However they have to tread carefully as an international war could break out any moment

The story is not as simple as it may seem and has some things to polish but if you are interested in playing a samurai girl just pm me.

As for My Character

What I have in mind is a 18 year old girl. Despite her cute face she can defend herself, at least in a 1vs1 since her father taught her some sword fencing.

Wild west, wild guns

So the big idea is to focus on the lives of two females that live in the wild west (1888)

The circumstances under which they meet can be discussed but what I have in mind for the main plot is that MC's uncle is taken hostage by some dangerous bandits and YC agrees to help.

While all this search takes place different side stories can take place, they could become bandits that form their own gang or perhaps the assistant of some sheriff. In any case they lives of this two will be hard
We can also encounter some real famous people from the real life as well as to approach to the supernatural world of the natives, myths and more.

As for the dynamic between the protagonists I would like yours to be the experienced one, perhaps she is more... Agresive? Maybe some sort of bounty hunter and could teach MC about shooting and... more...

As for my character I have in mind an spoiled British girl in her 25's, for whom all this is new and will have a real hard time getting used to

The story takes place in 2026 so Hogwarts and the wizarding world are relatively in peace. You are an 18 year old student and this is your last year at Hogwarts. The school year is about to start and perhaps you are looking fordward to the N.E.W.T exam or not, whatever you decide since many students don't aim to such exam.

No one can tell what dangers await this year

In this RP you can explore Hogwarts, fool around, make new friends...or enemies, even play prank on other students, play quidditch or more like... Falling in love? The posibilities are limitless

Main Plot:
The mountain on which Hogwarts is built has always been magical, and thousands of years ago a terrible demonic creature was captured and imprisoned in the caves below the mountain.
Many of these caves were sealed off when Hogwarts was built, and access to them was further restricted when Salazar Slytherin created the chamber of secrets to house the basilisk.
When Lockhart used Ron's broken wand to cast a spell that backfires and brings a ton of rock crashing down, this weakens the seals around the cavern where the demon is imprisoned.
During the battle of Hogwarts a few years later, the seals are weakened further, allowing the demon to slowly influence things in the world above.
Fast-forward to the end of the last school year. A weak-minded hufflepuff student has been following up on some strange ideas he's had, that have led him to certain medieval manuscripts in the library's restricted section. They seem to suggest that whoever follows a certain sequence of steps will gain the demon's powers and riches beyond imagining. Because the boy isn't that bright, he follows the ritual and is never seen again.
The previous D.A.D.A. Professor, Professor Laveau, was worried about the student in question and had been keeping tabs on him. When he vanished, she is immediately suspicious and investigates, eventually receiving permission from McG to attempt to go after him.

What has happened to both student and teacher is the mystery that must be solved by our intrepid witches
