Calling all Male Demons! And Human Females….

Penelope glanced at the clock on her radio and gave a sigh as she started the final trek towards the academy. It was getting late, Luckily there were no classes being held today, even still, she was sure there would have been some sort of opening ceremony or announcements she'd missed. Then of course she'd have to be made the spectacle of wandering in clueless about the campus. "Certainly late." she huffed. But it was alright. She could see the academy coming in to view now, and perhaps if she moved quickly she could still make it inside without too much of a scene. 

She climbed out of the sleek black vehicle and for the first time noticed the surprising lack of other automobiles in the vicinity. She'd been so focused on the time when she pulled up that she hadn't noticed it before. Perhaps she should have let the school provide transportation she pondered, as she shuffled around to the passenger door to retrieve the satchel in the back seat, she was sure she'd seen a bus passing in the opposite direction sometime earlier on the road hadn't she? She clicked her teeth once at the thought, a habit her mother surely would have scolded her for had she been present, and shut the door briskly.

"Too late for that now I guess." Reaching into the satchel she pulled out the form she'd completed the day she'd received it, and read it over once more as she headed inside the grounds.

The form read as follows:

Her exchange with the guard took only a moment before he sent her on her way, small map in hand, to find her apartment. The place was certainly large, but she guessed it may have just been because of how little other people were around to fill the space. A bit turned around her face was buried firmly in the map as she navigated her way towards her new home for the semester, "If I was suite 20, where would I be" she muttered out absentmindedly under her breath "Oh where, oh where would I be" she was almost humming now.

Alright guys so I'll bump it one more time. If we don't get anymore we can possibly rework it to use a smaller group if you guys are still interested.

So as you may have guessed this is going to be a survival sort of rp.
The finer details have not all been worked out yet, as I'm also looking for 1 or 2 co-gms to help out with finalizing some ideas, but I suppose for now I'm trying to get a feel for who may or may not be interested in participating. There may or may not be mystical elements involved but characters will be modern day humans on vacation, should you accept your invitation..
For now there isn't a cap on the number of participants, most CS will probably be accepted.

As far as rules go, you all know the spiel.
Be conscious of spelling and grammar, but I'm no nazi. You just need to be coherent and descriptive enough for everyone to enjoy. Fluff is not enough though, give me one solid paragraph as opposed to 5 full of filler bs.
As far as the usual no killing, well, you're trying to survive, so I'll leave that at your discretion. If anything seems over the top or unfair, it will be addressed. Feel free to message a mod if you've got a plan and want to know if it'll fly before you lay all your chips out for everyone else to see.
Swearing is fine, but in realistic moderation. You'll only be at sea on your way to the island, so no sailors allowed.
Adult themes are fine. You more than likely wont have time for getting saucy but if you do, be sure to keep the fine details to your pms. Those are general rules regarding smut, I don't care either way, just don't get too carried away.
I have not decided if children will be allowed yet, so if you have a child character be sure to make note of that. You will either have to make an additional parent cs, or team up with someone willing to take on that role.

My plan was to have had them come across each other when he was traveling in Europe. According to her real backstory she would have been there around the same time for unrelated reasons. It would probably have been a "brief" encounter. Long enough for them to be pals, but probably not to have shared much more than a few laughs and light hearted stories. She's just coming to visit, I suppose.

So perhaps she got sent into New Camden, only to find out that it's not so easy to get back and report in that no, it's not her demon, it's probably something a lot worse; Nemsemet is, and I keep saying that OOC and ICly, a certifiable nightmare.

Edit: The only thing I really object to is 7K years. I'd prefer a less over the top number. Maybe a parent got offed a couple hundred years ago and she inherited the obligation to continue the search -- that'd be a very faerie thing to have happen.

Yeah that's what I was going for. I thought since she'd be relatively close to the area, and her search in NYC was coming to an end, it would fit that she got sent to check in there, and then to just take it from there.

As for her age, it doesn't particularly play a role in anything she does. She'd been secluded in the Fae Realm up until the last couple hundred years when humans began to become aware of the supernaturals living among them again. Her lover was killed all that time ago, and one of her wings stolen, but she's only been actively searching the earth for a couple hundred years. For this type of Fae they don't have access to their entire lifespans worth of memories or knowledge. Most of it is stored in the Fae Realm, and since she's stuck here, she's disconnected from the rest of her life. It's mostly backstory paint, it doesn't do anything for her character.

Awesome, I will. I actually have a Faery from another rp who would fit perfectly with this storyline. In that rp she works with a worldwide agency that investigates major supernatural happenings. It's comprised mostly of humans, with a few choice others for support, who only investigate when things get out of hand. She's been searching for an ancient demon for like 7k years now and had agreed to help the agency in exchange for any information she could find on him. She's a field agent though, on a very unofficial contract which means whenever the trail dries up she moves on to the next place. She's been searching through major cities the last couple of years, the most recent, and still ongoing in another rp being NYC, and I think if she got any wind of what was going on in New Camden she would either assume it was the demon she's looking for that was causing the ruckus, or that he would certainly be trying to join forces with whomever was taking over. I'd think it'd be pretty nice to send her on a separate assignment like this, I just gotta add some tweaks. c:

Also, for the "Yes, and:" should I be getting an okay from whatever characters I'll be making mine know somehow or should I just wing it? I'm also assuming there's only a need to know a few of the characters, and others she should meet IC, since she only recently would have gotten to the city?
