Glad to hear it. I'll post a CS and make a post introducing my character once I get home, I've got a lot of work to catch up on.

I am fine with that. It would make sense to have someone in special ops collecting the information. would it be dead drops or meeting in person? I cant imagine it would be carrier hawk (unless we had a code)

I think we would have had a combination of both in person and dead drops. That way my character could be 'discovered' by the spy who attempted to kill him without your character being compromised as well. After my apparent death, we would likely keep in contact via messenger hawk in code like you suggested. I think it's likely that my character would be hiding in the Earth kingdom until the story starts.

That wouldn't be a bad idea. Although, I had an idea for a potential 'twist' to the storyline that could perspire later in the story, depending on how things go with the other characters. I'll PM you about it, maybe it'll make things easier on you and the other players for a potential big battle.

If your character were to be a spec ops operative, he'd probably be moved around a lot to fight against the Water Tribe forces, and since the Avatar if in hiding until he's ready, it's possible they could have had a few meetings while moving around, with your character being one of the few that can actually manage to teach the new avatar.

Perhaps Shanks' character and my own could have had some level of correspondence before my character going into hiding? That way there will be a method for the Avatar and my character to make a connection. Either Shanks' character or my own could lead the Avatar to the other, or help them look for them.

I'm assuming you're going to be playing the role of Avatar, pyroman?

I'd like to propose a character as well.

A water bender, and army brat child of a Major from the Northern Water tribe, he originally entered the military like his father. However, when Iluq took power, he found himself disagreeing with her goal of creating a world ice age, especially when he saw other peoples, especially benders, suffering for it. Climbing the ranks, he eventually became a special operations agent, part of an elite team of assassins and recon / spies working under Iluq and her generals. With this position, he began to funnel vital information to the Fire Nation military, to try and subvert the Water Tribe's forces.

Unfortunately, a spy within the Fire Nations army, working for Iluq directly, found out about the deception, and attempted to assassinate him, which resulted in the assisin believing he had died in a burning building. However, the corpse found wasn't his; having managed to escape, he went into hiding, awaiting his chance to strike back at the rapidly growing Water Empire.

Sounds good to me. If that's the case, will the Avatar still be an active threat? Imprisoned? I'm sure Iluq wouldn't want the Avatar killed just to be brought back in another body.
