Message to the AIF
We have traced the portal to its origins; gather a fleet if you wish to follow, as we can replicate the portal, though a smaller size. Respond with a message to tell us how big your fleet is, and whether or not you will chase them. We await.

Message to the "Romans"
Greetings, new acquaintances.
We are the Supremes and we have detected Dark Energy. What kind of empire are you?
I find it unfair that Duck just immediately absorbs one of his former Pact races with a totally new empire that no one has seen before. If the Asari have any brains whatsoever, they would join the AIF, or remain independent, not jump right into the next empire that shows up saying "We help you," if even that.

I can understand wanting one of the races back in another go at the Equiis Pact, but that doesn't mean you just instantly start it up. People don't just join groups like that without serious consideration. If they do, they probably won't be worth it.
Asari World: Response to single-word distress message
Some distance from orbit, 3 Supreme Warships 'ported into the area. Taking in the sight of a planet under siege, the Supremes immediately had two objectives:
A) Protect Equestrian Core Space from Invasion
B) Preserve race 'Asari'
C) Protect race 'Asari'

And so the Corvettes were launched, and they folded away to various areas of orbit, making sure to try and keep the enemy from realizing that there were Warships some distance away without any fighter escorts. The Corvettes engaged, and each pilot fought for themselves, for preservation, and for the people whose lives are endangered.

They could be good too! As they flew, they would occasionally reach out with their minds, and paralyze the minds of fighters around them. Inside the Warships, which were slowly approaching as the skies were cleared, ground troops were being readied.

You didn't answer my question. Why does an invasion of Poland have to cause the third world war?

Everybody wants a piece of Poland.

Why does does WWIII -have- to revolve around Poland, though? Sure, it seems like Russia's aggression never really escalated to that point, but aren't there still plenty of problems that could cause a third world war? Dwindling fossil-fuel supplies, eastern Asia, etc. I don't see why an invasion of Poland -has- to be the catalyst for a third world war, and why a German invasion has to succeed if it does happen.

Everyone wants a piece of Poland, didn't you know that?
Didn't you know that?
I think there should just be the start of WW3 due to the Germans invading, just to keep the streak going.

Just to be biased and racist and all.
And are you the one that controls Keyguy's defenses to suit your needs? If I were an omnipresent being, I wouldn't put a bunch of valuable stuff on something that is immediately labelled as a dangerous object.
Wait, an asteroid? Past asteroid defenses? Onto a colonized world?

That's saying several things
A) Asteroids are not smart, and they are not easily used. They are giant chunks of rock and ore.
B) The AIF's asteroid defense system is crap
C) You just killed thousands of people, should it hit near any settlement
D) Where the hell did it even come from? The AIF can protect from an invasion of military-centered giant lizard-men warriors with better tech, but an asteroid can go right through their defenses?

I'm sorry, but the sheer stupid of the asteroid is horrible. You might as well just take the discs and toss them through atmo for all the good the asteroid would do.

As well as the fact that it would be much better rp-wise if it were a distress beacon in several different Equestrian worlds, or in the Equestrian palace that my Supremes are looking through.
I forget the name of my character....

Ah, here it is
I see too many pickups and other cars with, at some place, a confederate flag.

And I am well aware that Chapa wasn't referring to me.

And if you don't want people to think they have to defend themselves, leave them alone, for once.
