Darkwolf will explain it, I'm sure. He didn't fully explain it to me, so I cannot fully explain it to you.

How did it get past shielding? Let alone a completely sealed station?

He infected you. I believe he PM'ed several people beforehand and during, to let them know that he was, me included. I believe he said that he left hints, so you might want to check over yours and his posts carefully.
And duck, I ask you to please not metagame. For example, should my race and your race meet on peaceful terms during peacetime, and you figure out that my race can't see, you will not immediately know that they will have mass-detection. It shouldn't even occur to you, especially since your race is essentially the exact same thing as the Equestrians, which means that you won't even think of something physical and sciency. It'd somehow be magic, for your people, since my people are blind but see all around them.

And another thing. I don't mean to offend or attack, but I simply ask that you... make something new. Most every roleplay you are active in, that I know of, you are always Equestrians, or insanely similar to. The same religion, the same powers, the same types of power-ranks, what with Princesses, er, "Immortals." I have been Draconian, Supreme, Hessian, and other things that are different. Very different. I simply ask, ask, that maybe in the next version, you try something new. If you don't want to, well, I said ask, now didn't I?

Also, the main 'plot,' whatwith prophecy and action and all that all are centered on Equestrians slash whatevertheyarenow, and the Humans and their representatives, which is somewhat like the other roleplays. I see diplomatic meetings, new races to discover, a hivemind trying to eat everyone, and stuff. Perhaps one could include the other players? A ship teleported into and back out of a system; is that not suspicious?

My apologies if I offended; forgive me if one becomes pissed at my requests.
I know.
The fact that such a big deal is being made over workshop metal cutters is either a sign that my quarralsome soul went to Asta, and I gained maturity, or you all are just as immature and quarralsome as me over nothing.
I have had zero inspiration

Actually, they can. Plasmas can retain temparures measured in the millions of Celsius. Unless you're using bullshitium, your metals arent immune to plasma. Even if the armor you're using is respectively thick.

Plasma torch. I'm not talking about futuristic super-length anti-armor cutting tools, I'm talking about a handheld plasma torch of the modern day, which can only cut through about half an inch.

And a plasma bolt, or a plasma cannon, or some other plasma weapon will very obviously have much more ability against armor than a handheld cutting torch of the modern day.

Nothing is immune to anything, except maybe organic creatures and a disease or virus. Everything is affected by everything, though effectiveness varies
Planet N-1
(Classified as the outermost, "N" planet, in the first colonized solar system, "1"))

As the planet was infected, the three closest cities, out of the five total, all had alarms going off and panic ensuing. Due to distance, there was not a chance of anyone being infected, yet, even with windstreams and the like, and evacuations were in order. Due to their wary nature, every building was more bunker than skyscraper, and the evacuation facility had both underground tunnels and a domed airlock that could hold an entire ship inside. The passengers would be disinfected, loaded aboard the transport in the dome, which was also disinfected. Once airlocks on the transport is sealed, the dome opens, they take off, the dome closes as another transport comes back, sprayed with disinfectant, and more passengers are disinfected, checked, and boarded.

Besides that, only two cargo ships were in orbit, witnessing the deployment. Wary, one approached, broadcasting live to the other ship, which was in turn broadcasting back to the inner planets. As it approached, another ship appeared: the Explorer that had only recently departed. Apparently they had turned around; the ships can be remotely controlled.

A cargo ship and an Explorer ship closed on the derelicts, both beginning to send frantic messages in a variety of known languages- everything from binary to religious gibberish, especially as the Explorers' crew woke up and returned to their duties, much to their surprise and frustration.
No total destruction.
Ships are heavily armored, remember? Even the best plasma torch can't cut through too thick of metal, so to speak

EDIT:
Although a mass-detecting species flying their former home because of a strange parasite would be pro-story
Moon N-3
As the ship disappeared, a station-wide all-clear alert was sent through the base, and the underground, fearful people rose through the dark corridors to the upper levels to resume their research and other duties. As some of them returned to their posts at the communications center, the picked up a distress signal from the planet, and a total of three ships, moving at a minimal speed.

With all ships accounted for on the latest update on the system network, an alarm was sounded of foreign ships being in the system.

With the message sent to the inner planets, a panic ensued in which two Explorer ships were sent out immediately, with other ships slowly mobilizing. The two Explorer ships burned across the system with all its crew in an emergency cryostasis, the ships blasting through the system at sublight.
