And if you want, just start without me. I've got homework and afterschool and all that poop to do; I am a bit bogged down atm, and haven't gotten around to the backstory as much as I could've.

Rogue used a race that half-worshiped a goddess and half-worshipped a race based off the Forerunners, somewhat, which I took over on and messed up.
And his Battleship-Xes were based off he USS South Dakota, or the Battleship X.

But I don't know any other references besides those.

Not to offend or anything, but does it tire anyone else to see the same thing happen over and over? I mean no disrespect, it's just that in every reboot and such, Duck's Equestrians [and now Iscandarians] have always ended the first contact with Keyguy's humans with a peace treaty and giving free tech, every time. Meanwhile, everyone else has been, well, different. Dark originally was a relatively peaceful Triarians, and now he's a murderous hivemind.

Apologies, I've been busy with homework, my mom's griping, and new games.

Speaking of which, I have a really good basis for my backstory now, after playing Mount & Blade. The backstory will be more plot-friendly, since one of his great-great-great-great-etc ancestors was essentially a smith who lost his loved ones, ran off and traveled, found a new place and essentially raised a group of soldiers who looted and pillaged enemies of the state, and eventually he became a lord, etc. etc. etc, and so it was just his legacy to learn all the old-stuffs, so he's more old-fashioned and the like than others.

I work them together, but I always work out how he'll be like, first. It's a sort of guidelines, and as I make a personality, I make a story with it. Then I just elaborate and extend on the little version I make
