The United Terran Federation, but that may be a bit difficult. There literally just starting to leave Sol, so you either have to use time-travel BS or come up with another BS excuse to have a human nation.

Nouvellians are much more evolved humans, and that wasn't a BS backstory.
A) And it's medieval, or of the time period where swords and the like were a man's guns?

B) I'd like to reserve a spot.

C) Also, does destroying half the house allow a vampire to enter? Such as if you were to, say, make rudimentary explosives or something or the other and make a great big gash?

D) Hi.

E) Does it matter what kind of background/history?

F) Could one be anywhere from an important noble's son to a serf or a drunkard's son?

G) I think that the Evelyn character would probably get along best with what I have in mind. I was thinking of a more gentleman-ly character, and then I look over the char sheets and there's a womanly woman! Anyways, on with the newly-born vampire sheet.
That would be a critical role, especially for Rebels
Planet Orbit N-1, the Explorer
As the telepathic message came through, the Tinkerer and the Hunter both stared at each other, with their peculiar way of doing so, and then used short-range communications to discuss the situation with the Captain and the Council representative that arrived with a passenger ship some far distance away in orbit. After a short conversation, it was decided to keep the Tinkerer that had originally brought in the foreign creature to go on and make contact, while another Tinkerer replaced him in the task of taking care of the dog-creature-thing.

In short order, a Tinker was standing outside the door with a sort of electronic nudge-leash pointed at the alien creature, and the original Tinkerer and Hunter pair jumping off the surface of the Explorer, armed with ZGMMPes, or Zero-Gravity Mounted Maneuvering Packs. With these, the two representatives, both of which had explosives in the form of two grenades and two high-explosive charges each, just in case a message needed to be made if they were attacked inside. Probably wouldn't majorly damage anything, but it's a living creature and having an explosive go off in your belly shouldn't feel too pleasant.

After a few minutes of drifting through space, the two began to feel slight gravity from the very large space-creature, and prepared themselves for what was to come. The Hunter readied his shoulder-mounted weapons, and the Tinkerer readied his thoughts and his handgun for first contact.

Nouvellian Plaza
The Tinkerer mouthed the words as the Captain spoke them, deciphering the more complicated words and getting a little bit more understanding of the language and the tenses. After a moment, the Tinkerer responded. "No, they are a different kind of Angel. Ours are all-seeing of the space around us, and they are not," he assumed, "for they are closer to your form than our own. Do so lead on."

With that, the three 'Angel' representatives followed the Captain to the 'General' of the police.
Oh no, I was talking about Duck's and Keyguy's ships in orbit.
Or duck's.

Accepted PlasmaAbfroeman you seem to have forgotten me in your latest post.

You and KeyGuy both have forgotten me, and I'm the one with two big ships in orbit right above the Nouvellians' palace, AND I've sent a DNA-message.
Their own faction?
Personally, I don't think that'd work. Why were the characters on their own in the first place? They didn't like where they came from, obviously, and they didn't want to be controlled by someone else, more or less. And in the times that the roleplay takes place, starting one's own 'faction' would be difficult, since you first must make a name for yourself in some form or another, and then gain peoples' trust, and gain something to keep them in- land? money? items? Expensive and lengthy, to make one's own faction. One would worry if it were some guy starting a rebellion, or simply trying to single you out so he can slit your throat and take your coinpurse.
One cannot be a true nerd, until he has become a fan of Firefly.

For Firefly is life.
Yee, lately I've tried to post but nothing goes through, and I just end up hitting Submit Post and then nothing happening except for the page being refreshed and nothing posted. I've lost several thingies that way.
