I'll eventually get a real bio in here.

I'd be the Spider, as long as there is an ammunition dump somewhere.
Economy:

1. Begin construction of a Tier 10 base off the coast of Western Africa, on an island [Tier 10 is like plantations and stuff with hidden weapons, Tier 1 is an underground and aboveground facility complete with everything needed, including manufacturing plants and the like]

2. Carry out minor, small jobs of sabotage and espionage between corporations or companies, from individuals.

3. Carry out slightly larger jobs of sabotage and espionage against any nation, paid by an independent individual within another country's government.

4. Upgrade Philippine Mountains base from Tier 6 to Tier 5

5. Train new recruits.

6. Convince agents from other national security agencies across the world to join MOTH instead.

7. Upgrade under 3000 agents or less from average skill level to elite.

Political:

1. Re-establish contact with North American undercover agents.
2. Re-establish contact with Greek undercover agents.
3. Re-establish contact with Russian undercover agents.
4. Re-establish contact with African undercover agents.
5. Re-establish contact with South American undercover agents.
6. Re-establish contact with Central American undercover agents.
7. Re-establish contact with Australian undercover agents.
8. Re-establish contact with Korean undercover agents.
9. Re-establish contact with Chinese undercover agents.
10. Re-establish contact with Middle Eastern undercover agents.
11. Re-establish contact with European undercover agents.
Alright fine, I won't be my idea. Thanks alot for everyone beating it down.

I just figured that mechs specializing in certain areas would be preferable to mechs that have almost everything.

I have two other ideas I'd like to say, and which will probably be beaten down by everyone and their brother:

A) slightly-larger-than-man anti-heavymech speeder. Think of the panther-like machine from Transformers, that has the chaingun on its back and was in the second movie, except large enough to have a pilot. The goal for that is to attack targets, similar to the Patton, by getting up real close and personal, jump onto the mech and perhaps deploy armor-piercing charges to screw up joints and other essential pieces on a mech.

B) Missile, anti-personnel mech. Assuming that the Patton doesn't have smaller, light artillery in addition to the giant stuff, this mech would be like the anti-infantry stuff. While the Patton will take out fortified installations and medium or heavy mechs, this idea would be that it's a missile type. Think of the MLRS, with smaller, longer range missiles in more quantity, and a few larger, more powerful missiles to be fired individually. Four or six legs, lightly armored, needs to move quickly. Fires off a salvo, and the resulting exhaust from the missiles will pinpoint his location, so he'll have to move.

Or it can be the Hover MLRS from Tiberium Sun, even though it wouldn't be a mech, it'd still be useful for anti-infantry or anti-lightarmor purposes.

The infantry spot for the Patton and also the Mech's with the Patton have to combat other Mechs, armor, and air support as the Patton would destroyed by them.

Again, my idea was to call in the airstrikes and the like. Indirect combat.

Hi. Spotter. Right here. I designed my guy to be the pattons spotter. I changed everything about him so he could watch out for it so the escorts to stay protecting. I have drones, targeting and everything else. Sort of unfair to just take that all away.

Didn't know

But is he supposed to be the like
everything
airstrikes
orbital strikes [if this is that kind of thing]
long-range artillery
tracking and scanning

communications to everyone
etc.

Like the radio guy during wars. Calls for reinforcements and the like.

If so, then I'll go with something with six-legs, relatively small and maneuverable, with short-range plasma cannons [hit-and-run tactics, with weapons that require somewhat medium-long recharge times]

or maybe I'll have a railgun and an autocannon...

or maybe just autocannons.

If I get paid.

Unless they pay me more, of course.

Hard Knocks is built around protecting the main Mech (Patton) who delivers troops then gives fire support once they are clear, Mechs for this company need to be more defensive and able to combat other Mechs or vehicles looking to take down the Patton. I would gladly take you but once again it's about utility and how the Mechs work with the troops in there Platoons.

The Patton is artillery, no?

Artillery is like a really big sniper. It needs a spotter.

The mech I have in mind isn't even supposed to be IN combat; it's supposed to stand back, in a hiding place near the Patton or whatever it's targeting for, and have connections with each of the mechs in the field. The mechs would target and identify enemy mechs and emplacements, and have some kind of external 3D scanner. All this, in turn, would be sent back to my mech, which would take it all in, map it out, predict possible courses of enemy mechs, and uses drones to keep track of them. Then it'd select good targets and give the Patton firing coordinates.
I'm waiting for KeyGuy to answer. Until then, I will neither post IC nor leave.
So what about my field command mech? Mainly hardware for communications, support, etc.

He'd be the spotter to the sniper, essentially. Lightly armored, lightly armed, but has equipment to be strategically vital.
