Ok really what the hell is that movie? I keep getting that feeling that I've SEEN it- the profpic looking familiar, the sig having the vaguely familiar gurl, and that DOG THING

I SWEAR

Sorry for my long delay. Last week was a living hell. Been having a run of bad luck, and been having to work harder because of it. Anyhow, I will do my best to get a post up and ready for you all. Again, I apologize so very much.

This is the most polite and awesome guy in the roleplay.

It got there from a nearby core world, as the systems are close togehter(when speaking space terms anyways). That is also combined with the fact that the Iscandarian FTL is fast and efficient.

Isn't everything you have very fast and efficient?

If you go back a page or two there was a large Sazkarjhit warfleet that came out of Slipstream Space and increased presence--and established a military installation--in the Asteroid Belt.

I know. Blasting asteroids and stuff, nobody cared.

The Pearl Fleet won't be going to New Concordia - at least not yet. Also, but can I make sure that FTL is only capable within parts of space which are already explored and charted?

FTL can go pretty much anywhere, but without using known coordinates, you may end up sending yourself into a sun or something.
Btw

This

Is what I think

Duck's logic

must be like

There's a fleet belonging to heavily-armed religious fanatics that's within a stone's throw of Earth and has set up a military installation.

Umm...

You mean the Iscandarians?
Wait, no, they don't have a military installation. Odd, that they would be so thoughtless, to attack a distant planet without constructing any sort of command station nearby, especially since they were very, very sure of themselves. To the point where they'd commit any entire attack force without any close reinforcements, which also was rather thoughtless.

^ I agree, and I have a problem with your post duck. Did you just pull a fleet out of your ass, like GTA weapon style? How did this fleet get there? and from where? no matter how fast you go that is still kinda broken.

Don't you know? His magic and Faust told him that you were coming beforehand, and then they just kept their scanners pointed right where you were gonna come from so that he'd know. His fleet was actually already en-route... wait, no his stuff is instant, so no, his fleet was just ready to go, fully fueled, already running, been waiting like that for a couple decades, ya diggity dig?
Uncharted Space: The Etherals
Both exploration/warships came out of 'port-space asleep and quiet. Sensors detected the two unknown contacts immediately after they came online, a few seconds after the ship had been re-assembled. Shortly afterwards, the cryopods, as they were imbedded in the walls at regular intervals between stations, opened, revealing the flash-frozen faces of the Valkian bridge crew. Shortly after they opened, only ten seconds at best, the room thawed them and they blinked their eyes unsteadily. The ship commander, taking in the spinning balls [since they can't see light, they use spinning objects for alarms instead] on multiple consoles, and of the two friendly Valkian ship representations being very distantly approached by one of the two neutral-symbolized representations in the center of the room.

The bridge itself is not too terribly impressive; simple computer screens armed with a keyboard, a flat pad sticking out for similar use as a mouse pad, and a joystick. As the Valkians took in the alarms and the red lights on their consoles, they awakened quickly and ran to secure the ship's systems, and to send a message to their accompanying Varren. Right before they sent their own message, however, the Varren sent theirs, asking for orders.

The ship commander didn't quite know what to do. He was a Tinkerer, with a Hunter assistant for military operations, and he thought through all this very quickly. An unidentified ship was moving towards them on intercept course, and they appeared to make no attempts at communication. Uneasy, the Tinkerer ordered the three weapons officers to arm the ship. One coordinated the particle lasers, another the swarmers, and another coordinated what should hit where when. Their screens weren't holographic or LED; they were a black slate that raised tiny, pixel-width lengths of black metal to have a similar effect of a screen for those who sensed the surfaces around them, instead of those who can detect light and other radiation. Their holographic 'table' was simply a mass projection field, which is their version of a fancy device that makes things in the vicinity float, swirl, or anything else they want. Their 'holograms' were sandy-colored... sand, which floated with a strange eeriness that would have been felt by any non-Valkian present.

A mere minute after the two ships came out of a normal, non-combat 'port, they were wary and ready for a fight. The Varren, a little less armored with a good bit more firepower and weakspots, with less tactical pieces such as advanced scanners or missile re-targeting systems, moved to circle around, slowing down so that the Explorer could approach.
I'll be posting sometime today.

I thought you left Cale?

He has
But there are people who haven't joined the rp that talk in OOC, which is what he's doing.

Double post.
