RiskHi- looks like an interesting idea, for sure. Might I ask how the magic works? Is it just the command-and-it-will-happen, or is it different? Cause I know that in this one book series by Christopher G. Nutall, there was a really interesting take on magic- every spell is like a section of computer code, where there's a starting 'spell', and then a spell that is, for example, a ball of moving light would be "start > last for: 20 seconds > move from hand to 100 meters away or until reaches solid > is as bright as a candle > is as cold as a piece of ice > end" If you were to leave out how bright the spell is supposed to be, or how long, then it'd be unpredictable- it may not have ANY light at all, or it may be as bright as a supernova. It could last for half a second, or forever, in which it'd just drain on your magic until you shut the spell down, or you die. I found that concept interesting, because it meant that, in a way, you could make spells more diverse, you know?
Also, my character would totally be the most dangerous magician in the world once he learns a simple precise cutting spell. Because- what happens when you split an atom?
