Bio

I have been writing since I was 17 years old. I am now 33 and I've been enjoying life. Writing is a passion just as reading is. My favorite genre is murder/mystery, but I love fantasy and I love action/adventure. I have published a collection of short stories that can be found on Apple Books, Barnes and Nobles, and Kindle. I have a trilogy in the works, the first part scheduled for release this year.

Caleb was truly impressed when he looked up and saw Ambrose produce a protective field around their camping area. He even smiled and looked at Ambrose with a look that if anyone saw would believe that there was still infatuation between them. When Ambrose turned around, Caleb returned to putting the final touches on the tent. When he stood up straight, he looked towards Ambrose and dusted his hands off sitting down in the grass right in front of him.

"I have to admit that I am very impressed right now," he said with a genuine smile, his dimples showing as he pulled his knees to his chest and placed his arms on top of his knees. He didn't like this feeling, it was like he wanted to hold Ambrose's hand, maybe kiss him, tell him everything was going to be okay, but he was conflicted. He had taken Ambrose for a horrible rollercoaster ride and though Ambrose forgave him, he didn't forgive himself and he maintained his distance. He looked up at Ambrose, his eyes having fallen to the ground. "Penny for your thoughts?" He asked clearly interested in knowing what Ambrose was thinking.

Damar watched as Jocelyn arrived asking him if he was leaving and he simply sighed. "No girl, I just needed some fresh air is all, really I'm fine," he said to both of them, trying to assert that everything was fine and that they didn't need to worry. As he stood there with his two friends, he couldn't help but smile at the look on Jocelyn and Kai's faces. Finally, Kai suggested they go to the garden and have fun with the others. Sighing, Damar realized that he couldn't run from this if he was expected to stay in this house for the summer. Lance was here, and that was that. He couldn't change how he felt about him, but he would do his best to avoid him if that was at all possible.

"Yea that sounds great," Damar said before his phone vibrated and he looked at the message from Elizabeth. Why did she always feel the need to send mass texts? He sighed and shook his head as he read the message, and when he got to watermelon his eyes lit up like a kid in a candy shop. "WATERMELON! FUCK YEA!" He commented as he placed his bag back on the chair. At that point, Ronnie yelled inside for everyone to get their "sexy" bodies out to the pool. Shaking his head he looked at Kai and Jocelyn and sighed. "Might as well," he said as he turned and moved towards the pool area hoping that Jocelyn and Kai were in tow behind him. When he arrived, he saw some of his friends enjoying the pool. "Is this a setup?" he commented with a smirk. Slowly he began to pull off his top. He didn't have on a swimsuit, or swimming trunks, so today they'd have to enjoy him in his underwear which was pink and blue like cotton candy, but in plaid. He stripped until he was standing there in just his underwear before he dove into the water and allowed the water to caress him upon entry. When he resurfaced he smirked and floated around in the pool.

He looked at Amelia who looked as if she were contemplating getting in. "Come on Bunny, live a little," Damar said with a smile as he swam to her side of the pool and approached the edge. "I think chicken would be fun, but I mean come on guys ya'll are just setting me up to win."
As they walked, Caleb kept checking on Ambrose to make sure he was alright. When Ambrose performed a spell that acted as a barrier between them and the rain, Caleb raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Look at you," Caleb said still smiling, "I'm impressed," he added as he heard the rustling and turned his attention to their surroundings. He had to be careful and make sure that everything went well, otherwise, he'd have to fight and he really didn't want to have to do that in front of Ambrose. It's one thing to get caught off guard like he had been when the Leviathan attacked him, but he had focused and trained after that and learned so new deadlier techniques.

"Stay close Ambrose," Caleb said as he remembered a question Ambrose asked earlier that he never addressed. "Oh, and not need to worry about supplies..," he began as he patted the messenger bag that rested on his right side. "This baby is enchanted to hold whatever I need. I just need to find us a clearing so we can set up."

The rustling had him on edge, but he continued on checking with Ambrose every so often to make sure nothing had snatched him. As they moved, they entered into a small clearing surrounded by the forest. "Alright, I guess this will do. Besides its best not to traverse the forest at night, too many things can happen," Caleb said as he began pulling stuff out of the messenger bag. He pulled a full-size tent out of the small bag, as well as two sleeping bags. "Alright, do you know the protection charm? Or would you rather start on the tent?"
I can handle two let me get to work on their sheets. They'll be brothers if that is okay, from the Ninja Storm era if possible, perhaps Jungle Fury, not sure yet though.
Hmmm, choices, choices, choices.....

Let me think on this. I definitely wouldn't mind Blue, but Green is calling my name, as is Pink.

Is Pink gender locked?
Yep, that's literally it right there.

Count me in. Love Slice of Life genres.
Caleb exhaled as he listened to Ambrose. He knew it was hard for Ambrose to accept that Caleb still cared about him, they still hadn't known each other long enough for any deep feelings to develop, but it had been a few months since their first encounter, and the kissed they shared, followed by rejection, disappointment, and unpredictability. There was no doubt that any type of relationship could form after such a horrible start. Caleb had blocked it in his mind after a long internal struggle. He realized it was for the best. Perhaps they could be friends. Friendship was a good start for rebuilding what emotions destroyed between them. He blinked realizing he had been in deep thought while Ambrose was talking. There was a moment of anticipation as Caleb walked over to the table and grabbed the final book.

"You ready?" He asked Ambrose before opening the book. "Divine Spirit of the East, come now, grant us traveling mercy to the Amazon Rainforest."

Calling upon his inner power, Caleb spoke the words and watched as energy began to shift and change in the room. In a blink of an eye, their surroundings changed from inside a library to trees as far as the eye could see. They were in the rainforest, and it was raining. Caleb tucked the book in the messenger bag that appeared on his shoulder. He looked at Ambrose and winked.

"First date not so bad huh?" He playfully said as he closed his eyes for a moment, getting the feel of the noises within the rainforest. He could hear frogs, loud insects and growling in the distance. No doubt their entry into the rainforest was unnoticed. "We better get moving if we want to cover ground before nightfall," Caleb suggested his eyes still closed. It was as if he were waiting on something. Then it happened. He felt it. There was a pull in his inner power, and his eyes flung open. Without a word he started moving in the direction he felt the faint magical energy. It was quite a distance off. A day or two journey, but he knew it would be worth it to finally get rid of that monstrosity. He looked back at Ambrose as he moved through the thick rainforest. "Stay close and keep your eyes peeled. There's more than just animals to watch out for out here. Just so you know all the legends are true. Creatures of myth and lore do exist and won't take kindly to us coming in unannounced. So just watch yourself, please."

My interest is peaked, I would love to read the surprise twist you mentioned. I guess adding another story to my growing list won't hurt.
