Malfunction -- The RP Where Having Superpowers Sucks (New Thread! Now with added friendship!)

Here's the CS I whipped up! Which is laughable in comparison to @Wade Wilson's CS (seriously, good job on that dude!), but I hope I met par! The CS's I skimmed over varied in length, so I hope mine isn't too short. Read through and tell me what you think!

Daniyal Lohinejadian

Daniyal Lohinejadian| 15 | Male

Appearance:

Brought unto the world with severely crippling low self-esteem, Daniyal is a humongous fan of anything dark that will hide his body frame. Oversized jackets, black jeans, and those sneakers all the quiet kids wear. And it's extremely hard to hide in plain sight seeing as he is a six foot one tall freak of nature. While he might try really hard to hide himself from sight, he does very little to groom himself. His hair is usually left wild, and messy, never bothering to keep it under control, with heavy bags that line his eyes, and his malnourished lithe body clothed in clothes that are years old.

His skin, originally sun-kissed, has now paled due to his constant stirring indoors, making his relatively white teeth look unhealthy in comparison. His ribs stick out from his chest, and his wrists are bony, limbs thin, but his hips are strangely full. Well a bit more full in comparison to his skeletal like body.

His face is pointed, yet rounded, some might find this cute, while Daniyal sees it as another imperfection that needs to be fixed. If there is anything he likes about his looks, is his bright dark brown eyes, which he hoped would distract people away from the rest of his body. Notably, his big nose (he considers it big anyway) and his mop of dark brown hair which constantly falls in front of his face, which he probably bothered to only comb once in his lifetime.

Powers:

Telekinesis

Iconic, isn't it? Very self-explanatory too. The movement of matter with one's mind. Though, Daniyal has found more ways to use this power other than lifting dirty laundry across his room. After spending more than five minutes awake in his Physics class, Daniyal learned what friction could do. Basically, rub something hard enough and you can set it on fire, and that's what he does. While it may be hard to target the individual atoms that make up an object, with a little patience and creativity (both which Daniyal has a lot of), starting a barbecue becomes much easier. Daniyal now trains to not use his power to try to lift a truck, but rather learn how to individually target what makes the truck tick and possibly make it go boom. Slowing down or speeding up momentum by slowing the movement of atoms now becomes akin to time control, ice generation becomes just a matter of slowing down and binding mist in the air until it cools down low enough to create ice, and stopping a man's heart is easy! Just make his blood clot in his veins with a little teleke-awesome. All you need is a little creativity.

Weaknesses/Limitations:

Inexperienced

While this all may sound so flashy and God-like, keep in mind Daniyal has literally no idea how to use his power effectively. All that time hating himself, and fearing his transformation into a Mal left little time to actually train himself. So to recap, the stuff listed above are examples of what telekinesis (or his brand of it anyway) can do, but not what he can necessarily do.

Energy (Baby) Pool
You need energy to do stuff, correct? Well so does Daniyal, using his powers is the same as running a mile to him. By using his power, he needs actual energy to fuel it, so he'll need lots of calories. He used to be a major chubby kid in his younger years, with a waistline in the 40s, but after having nothing to eat but small rations, that made him lose a lot of fat and energy fast. Probably one of the factors that caused him to grow so thin (maybe bulimia had something to do with it too). Now, trying to move a particularly heavy stack of books can make him pass out.

Concetrate!
Something Daniyal can't do. While he is patient and creative, his mind tends to wander. And having to concentrate on possibly billions of particles at once is hard enough with a sharp mind, now it's practically impossible with a mind that wanders. But Daniyal still learns to power through it.

Overloaded
Similar to Inexperinced, Daniyal is well, inexperienced. While usually he has a hard time getting his powers to work, sometimes it becomes too hard for him to stop. This sudden surge of power usually leaves him intensely weak seeing as he requires energy to work his magic, be it consensual or not. The surge is usually triggered by immense emotions, and he has learned how to use this in his advantage. If he desperately needed a quick boost, just thinking some mean thoughts could trigger the surge to occur. But the consequences remain the same.

Personality:

What's to say? He's quite, reserved, strange, and mysterious. But take 5 minutes to talk to him, and you'll discover a bit more about him. His constant silence is due to a fear of being judged and mocked. Without much human interaction in his life, he grew up extremely reserved and afraid of people. Not because he thought they were bad, but because he didn't want them to see him as bad.

However, he is willing to open up. If you approach him and try to befriend him, you'll quickly find he's overjoyed to make new friends. Beneath that silent exterior, he is a fun loving, energetic, kid. Albeit a little clingy at times. He can be sassy, and the group's joker, but at times, this side of him is also just a facade.

He very frequently bottles up his emotions, trying to keep up his reputation as a silent freak in the eyes of strangers, and just a fun loving innocent kid in the eyes of his small group of friends. While he can be very patient, he does have a limit. Pushed too far, and he isn't afraid to snap. He won't necessarily go on a killing spree, but he will be extremely violent, and loud. Sending sarcastic quips back and forth, maybe even throwing a few punches, until he calms down. And after his episode, he usually is left emotionally drained and very sensitive.

Backstory:

Thrust out of the loins of the single mother Cyndella Lohinejadian, Daniyal at first grew up like any other kid. Normal. Living in a modest little apartment, plenty of toys, friends, and family time. Top of his class, his mother's ultimate pride, he truly was living the life. Well, as a toddler anyway. As the grip of the NWO tightened on society, Daniyal's life slowly went to absolute shit.

Suddenly, there was the new AIDs disease, mutants. But this time, you couldn't fight it off with a condom. With a mixture of propaganda and fear mongering, soon everyone was either terrified of these new, dangerous "Mals," or armed to the teeth with weapons to shoot off the next Mal who dared get close to him. And like a good mother, Cyndella was absolutely terrified. She never imaged her own flesh and blood would be something so vile, disgusting, and unnatural. Well, up and until she discovered little 10-year-old Daniyal laughing at a levitating spoon.

A part of Cyndella wanted to throw her son out, take a knife and end his miserable life, but she restrained herself. She gave birth to this mistake, she was going to take care of it. Soon Daniyal was isolated from the rest of the world, and with a constantly working mother, he was left alone almost 24/7.

Daniyal grew up hating himself, he so desperately wanted to be normal. He never levitated someone, or blasted a car through a wall, he so desperately wanted to be normal, and for the longest time he believed he was. His school life was nothing spectacular. Little to no friends, grades dropping from straight A's to B's, hated gym class, experienced awkward homoerotic tensions with a guy he might like and came into terms with his new found desires but at the same time not, and went generally unnoticed. He kept himself busy with writing, and reading, and role-playing games to escape from his reality. Though that would be looked down upon with the new fear of Mals rising.

And when it came to take his first test, he was strangely confident. Because even with his quirks, he was sure he was normal. That he wasn't some sick perverted Mal or anything. Until the tests came back positive and he was he was shipped off away from Mama.

Now he spends his days silently shambling across the halls, his constant silence was seen as a sign of submissiveness, respect, and politeness. That's what almost everyone he knew thought, so he didn't bother correcting them. To him, TEF-149 was just a never ending gym class.

Talents/Skills:

• Lying.
  While he may be no master thief that can coax the guards to hand over the Crown Jewels to him, he is a very talented liar. Constructing tales with his endless creativity to create the perfect excuses as to why he’s outside after the curfew. And that’s also very handy when writing his next book that he’ll never publish.
• Cooking.
  Living alone for most of your life teaches you how to survive in total isolation. Cooking for yourself is one of those skills.
• Surviving.
  Seems like a weird and pretty vague skill, so let me clarify. While he may not start drinking his piss after getting lost in the forest for 30 mins, he is extremely durable. Able to go quite a while without food or water despite his thin body, able to stay wide awake for hours on end, and other traits affiliated with shut-ins. But he can't fight off a bear though.
• Student.
  Hey, he's in high school (well he's supposed to be), being able to pick up skills and tricks quickly is a big boost. His mind is young and ready to soak in all the useless trivia!

Quirks/Habits/Other:

Nail biting, foot shaking/tapping, going days on end without any human interaction, and a lover of dark humour.
TL/DR:

The quiet kid at the back of your class, who you secretly know is a cool guy but whom you never bother speaking to because he’s kinda weird sometimes.
