Bio

Hey there, I'm Wolvena!
So, after being away from the roleplay world for a while, I'm ready to jump back in. I don't do many 1 on 1's because I tend to struggle to keep it going after a little bit. I normally go with group rps on the smaller side, just because I tend to get a bit lost in larger ones. My go-to genres are animal(mostly wolves), anime, sci-fi, and fantasy, though I'm always up to give something new a try.

Location: Texas
Addictions: Minty chocolate, Wolves, Supernatural Tv Show, Anime
Favorite Quotes:
Even if you think you're alone, even if you think
there's no one else to listen to you. You're not alone.

You are Not making mistakes,
you are Not losing.
You are either Winning or Learning!

Esme Stirling

Esme continued to fight against her nightmare till the early hours of morning. Her nightmare was once again about the death of her family, but this time she was there, watching it all unfold, and was helpless to stop it. The death of her family had relentlessly haunted her sleep since it had happened, hardly ever letting her have a decent night's sleep. After it released its hold on her, she shivered before she relaxed with a heavy sigh in her sleep. A few tears had escaped her closed lids as she curled in on herself.

Esme slept slightly more peacefully for the rest of the morning, but still whimpered and shivered as she slept. Images of what she lost and couldn’t save still popping up behind her closed lids, but not as horrific as before. Esme slept through most of the morning, not knowing what she was going to wake up to. When she woke, it was mid to late morning, feeling groggy. She laid there thinking about what happened. The last thing she remembered was falling toward the hard tile floor. Then things went black before she could feel herself hit.

She soon realized her surroundings had changed. She was in a clean room and was laying in a bed, but realized she wasn’t alone. Her eyes went wide as she soon realized she was lying on someone’s lap and they had a hand on her head. “What the hell!” she almost yelled as she bolted up and scrambled from the bed. Reaching behind her, she pulled her gun that remained tucked in the back of her pants after everything. She released the safety as she spun around to face the bed and who was on it, pointing the gun at them. Upon seeing Cason sitting on the bed, her shock turned to anger, causing her to grip her gun tightly and pull the trigger.

The bullet hit its mark, right in Cason’s head. “You’ve got to be kidding me!” she said as she stared at him,. She backed away from the bed, anger still plastered on her face and a fire burning in her eyes from what she had woken up to. She brought up her left hand and pinched the bridge of her nose as she closed her eyes briefly and sighed, her gun still pointed at him. She was tempted to shoot him again as she stared at him. Why the hell was he holding me like that? she asked herself. “Care to explain what I just woke up to!?” she demanded.

As Cason washed his hands, Esme leaned her head back against the wall but made sure she could still monitor him. When he finished and turned to her with a grin, she raised an eyebrow. As he spoke, she listened and studied him. He appeared to be truthful. But then again, she was pretty much a human lie detector. She almost laughed when he told her to consider him in her debt. A demon in the debt of a hunter, now that was something. That could either be a good thing or a bad thing because who knows when it could go bad and bite you in the ass.

Esme looked at him with her brow still raised as he tried to prove that he was serious. All she could do at this moment was let it play out and see where it went. When Cason poked his head out the door and held his hands up as if she would fall, she couldn’t help but roll her eyes a bit. She sighed heavily at his words to the others. She pushed herself off the wall and stumbled a bit. “I said I’m fine!” she snapped at Cason. Though the quick movement was a bad idea, her vision blurred, and she became light-headed. “Hellfire.” she mumbled, as she reached for something to grab a hold of. She could feel nothing close and soon felt herself falling towards the tile floor.

Esme closed her eyes as she leaned against the sink, still breathing slowly. She felt Cason come up behind her, but said nothing as he stood there for a moment. She focused on her breathing until he spoke to her, which caused a slight smirk to appear on her lips. Taking a deep breath, she opened her eyes and slowly pushed herself away from the sink, then staggered back into a wall, her smirk disappearing. She leaned against the wall and focused on Cason while also focusing on standing.

“I’ll be fine.” she told him, her tone a bit stronger than a whisper. “You owe me one?” she questioned, a laugh almost forming in her tone as she watched him. “How is it you owe me?” she continued with a raised brow. A demon saying they owed one to a hunter. That was something she never thought she’d ever hear.
I've felt the same way about the discord.

Esme had heard Cason ask his question as she healed Annabeth, but had chosen not to answer him. Mostly because she was trying to concentrate on what she was doing and because she felt she really didn’t have to answer. She was just about to make the first stitch on the second wound when Cason spoke to Benjamin. She paused at his words and looked over her shoulder at Benjamin to see what he’d do, missing the whole appearance of the Ray Bans but not the words Cason spoke to Annabeth. When he confirmed he could help, she inwardly sighed. She wouldn’t admit it aloud, but she was glad he stepped in to heal her, even though she wished he would have done it sooner.

She watched as he made his way over, said a spell, and healed her. Esme couldn’t help but inspect where the wounds had been as he spoke . She could just barely make out the light scar left behind. She then looked at Annabeth and placed her hand that still rested on her arm and gave it a small friendly squeeze. “Looks like he fixed you up pretty well.” she said warmly. “I’ll be back in a bit.” she told her as she stood from the bed. “I’m going to go clean up.” Gathering everything she used and the kit, Esme headed into the bathroom.

Once there, she sat everything down on the toilet set and cracked the door behind her, just hearing Benjamin’s last words. She turned and walked to the sink, placing a hand on both sides and leaning against it as she looked into the cracked mirror. When she looked at the reflection, she hardly recognized the person looking back at her. She was pale, dishevelled, and the dark circles under eyes were slightly more visible than they were earlier. Sighing heavily, she turned on the water and cleaned up.

“What a hell of a day this has been.” she whispered as she cleaned up. She then put everything away, feeling herself coming down from everything now she was away from everyone. She made it back to the sink and clung to it, feeling herself become lightheaded and weak. “Come on. Hang in there.” she whispered to herself. She breathed slowly, trying to get herself through it.
@AnnaBeth
Thank you. You're pretty awesome yourself. ^_^
Alrighty, I'll see what I can come up with. ^_^
My post is up. ^_^

Hope you had a good time with your dad.

Esme gave a weak smile in return to Sam’s words. “You’re welcome.” she managed to say as he passed her. Before moving to the bedside, she walked over to the table to get the kit that was still sitting there from earlier. She reached out with shaky hands and placed them on the kit. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and slowly released it. Come on Esme. Get a hold of yourself. she told herself. You are stronger than this. Don’t let this gift or curse get the better of you.

Opening her eyes, she picked up the kit, along with her tweezers, that had been left there, and went back over to the bed. She sat everything on the bedside table before taking a hold of Annabeth’s hand and sitting down on the bed. “Don’t you worry Annabeth. I’ll have you patched up in no time.” she told her warmly. Esme then set Annabeth’s hand down on the bed and got everything she needed ready, like preparing the needle and thread and bandages she would need. Once done, she scooted closer to take care of the wounds, but paused for a moment.

She took Annabeth’s hand and placed it on her left arm. “Don’t be afraid to squeeze if you need to.” she told her. She then set to cleaning up the wounds so she could see exactly what she was working with. Esme tried not to shudder or wince when she saw the true damage. Taking a breath, she patted Annabeth’s hand to signal she was going to begin stitching her up. The weak smile that was on her lips faded. Her features took on a look of concentration, and it was clear she was taking great care in what she was doing and trying to not cause too much pain.

She had stitched up plenty of wounds in the past, some of them almost as bad as this one, but not as deep. It took her a bit of time to stitch up the first wound. “One down, one to go.” she whispered. She leaned up a moment to stretch out her back, then used the back of her wrist to wipe her forehead. Before setting to work on the other, she looked at Annabeth and inwardly sighed, knowing how much pain she was in. She then did something she hadn’t done for anyone in a long time.

Esme moved the needle and thread to her left hand so she could place her right hand on top of Annabeth’s, which rested on her arm. Esme closed her eyes and began to heal Annbabeth’s wounds, but not physically. She was drawing her pain into herself, or at least as much as she could. She held back the gasp and cries of pain that tried to escape her as she felt the pain consume her. Esme opened her eyes once more and set to work on the other wound.
Alrighty, I should have one up soon. ^_^
