I am hoping that the whole love for muggle sports will play into my character helping his houses quidditch team. He will come up with weird and crazy strategies that are drawn from muggle sports plays. Already picturing the team lining up like a north american football team about to snap the football.

Just to give the GM's an idea of what I am hoping to do I am planning on Devin starting a Muggle Appreciation Club of sorts. While it has a general name the truth of the club is that it will be a club that Devin uses to try and get people into watching muggle sports with him. While normally a student wouldn't be allowed to make a club his first year I thought that since the Muggle Studies teacher is Arthur Weasley it wouldn't be that difficult to convince him that the club creation would be a great benefit to helping his students better understand the muggle world.

Will be happy to talk about this more if anyone has a question regarding this club. As far as how it comes about being created I am thinking that Devin will be distraught that electronics don't work at Hogwarts and will be desperately wandering the halls looking for any help on how he can watch his favorite team play in a big game early in the school year.
Devin Coal from Canada is ready and present for school.
None of our characters have been sorted so I think we should make it a point to try and mingle as much as possible before that happens. That way we have a better backdrop for socialising after we have our houses set and walls are built up by our houses rivalries.
Yeohaeng Byeog

It was a widely known fact that funerals made people uncomfortable doubly so when the person who died was loved by many. The sober atmosphere was matched by Yeo's body language. The mournful look he held was more out of respect then personal loss. Unlike most in the village Yeo was a relatively new member. Having only arrived in the village six months ago. He had found the sense of calm surrounding the village welcoming and the fact that its ninja academy had welcomed him made the decision to remain an easy one to make. With the village being called home for such a short period of time he knew little about those being laid to rest this solemn day.

Yeo had positioned himself near the back of the crowd to let those more affected by the shinobi deaths to get closer. Since the procession had only just started he knew it would be some time before the caskets crossed his gaze. Instead he found his eyes wandering this way and that like they often do when he is confronted with waiting. As he looked over the crowd Yeo spotted a classmate of his, Minoru Maki, was perched above the road on a large rock giving him wide view. The self awareness of the advantageous spot was a well known trait of Maki's. It took three flicker steps for Yeo to arrive on the rock next to his schoolmate just as he heard the words in my lifetime.

"Hopefully it will be a long one." Yep said casually. He felt more comfortable next to Maki, as the two were both newcomers to the village. As such the feeling of being outsiders was more pronounced then normal. Maki's distance from the procession seemed more of an example of normal behaviour then respect like Yeo's. He looked over at the bow that rested on the back of Maki's back and felt the urge to strum the string. He fought through this and instead looked down at the arrowhead in the boys hand. The silence had been expected down by the crowd, but with it only being him and Maki it seemed more damning than anything.

"Seems the whole village is in a state of stupor." Yeo mused aloud. It wasn't meant to draw a conversation or even a response. Just an observation of the stage below the two. "They said they are going to be posting the teams from our class later. Any idea where your going to be placed?" This question was meant as a conversation starter. During their time at academy Maki and Yeo had been paired off for several practice assignments as well as after school training outside of school regulated practice. The two got along well enough and had other people in the class been asked most would have likely partnered the two together. Still Yeo didn't really see that as his history had him constantly seeing him as the outsider in any community.
I like our team Nightrunner. With my characters wind themes some really cool combo attacks with your archers arrows are a great start to working as a team. Plus I see our personalities working well in a comedic sense. Already picturing your characters arrows trying to catch up to my characters impulsive attacks.
Masaki Haruna
If anything my character is exceptionally strong against that form of attack. Because I assumed most people wouldn't be interested in the illusionary arts I figured a character who is strong against it would be a perfect support character.

Do we know our teams yet?
