Who put Matt in storage? Matt, are you in storage?

she leans on him, mumbling out "thanks" before falling asleep and snoring quietly where it sounds similar to heavy breathing more than actual snoring. she sleeps peacefully despite the scare from earlier as she leans against him, sharing her warmth with him and vice versa

The night passes uneventfully, with Elysia sleeping and Damien exhaustively watching all night. As the sun finally returns, he heaves a weary sigh. "Thank heavens. I am so tired. Maybe some rest before we start looking for civilization."
(not sure what world to have them wake up in)

"no... i appeared in the field of moon glow i was tending" she replies softly, obviously lost in thought and tired from the flight and scare as she appears to be dozing off during their conversation. she then curls up and rests her head on her knees, closing her eyes as she asks "where's the nearest city?" in a tired voice as she furls her wings around herself for warmth

Damien moves to sit by her and share his cloak. "Sorry. You looked cold."
Tyki said
"better than in that things belly" she replies, having caught her breath a bit more as she sits down, leaning against a large rock face and curling her wings around herself to provide some warmth. she remains silent for a while before asking "what are the pillars you were talking about?" in a tone that implyed she really didn't know what they were

The young man sat down on a stone. He had long dark hair, a black cloak, fairly light skin and rich brown eyes. "Well, since you don't know what they are, I guess you are not from the same world as me. I'll tell you." He blinked, trying to think of how to explain this. "They are nine pillars that reach up into the sky forever. They stand in a kind of semi-circle on this giant stone dais... each one is about as big around as an old oak tree. No one knows who made them or how they got there, but each one has a symbol on it. They are said to be haunted. there's also some old ruins around them that are really, really old." Damien shrugged. "They are a big landmark. You can see them from pretty much anywhere. You've really never been there?

she sets him down high up on a mountain before landing next to him, out of breath from the long flight as the wings fold into a better position for remaining on the ground while her hands are on her knees. "priestess of the crescent, came from a small village in the lunar valley... went on a walk and found myself unable to get back... been here ever since" she replies exhaustedly, her voice remaining mature as if giving up on the illusion of the ditzy, pious girl that greeted him and offered him something resembling shelter however she gives no further explanation on her abilities or how they work or even why she has wings

Damien watched her, letting her rest. He glanced around, and found that they were safely alone up on this mountain. "That was quite impressive. You saved my life, and I am grateful. You know, it's funny, but I got lost on a walk too, just before we met." Damien walked a few steps away and looked out across the land. It was too dark for his human eyes to see anything but still he asked, "Where are the pillars? ... I wonder where we both got lost to." He came back over to see how she was doing. "I'm very glad we are together. I think we can rest here for a short while. Do you want to?"

she lets out a small sound of fear similar to a rushed "oh shit" before silvery wings unfurl from her back, she then flys over and grabs damien, not stopping in her flight as she gets above the trees. "does it have ranged attacks?" she asks with a more mature voice than what she'd been using to speak with him earlier, giving the suggestion that she'd been faking it earlier while her wings and abnormal strength seem to reinforce the idea of her being something of a magic user albeit of a foreign school or technique. her face seems to be oddly calm but her eyes are full of fear, showing that she might be used to these situations

Damien is grabbed and lifted up just as the giant, hungry flesh-beast took a swipe at his former position. Deep, red, glowing eyes looked up at them both as the thing let out a mindless moan. Damien didn't even hear Elysia's question as the two of them quickly flew high. Fortunately it had no ranged attacks. he watched as it the glow of it's soul began to fade away in the distance.

When she set him down, far off. Damien was trembling. He gathered himself slowly and looked up at her. "You can fly? How? Where do you come from?"
Tyki said
"what is it?" she asks softly, clinging to him for protection while also passively eating her rice

"I don't know what it is, but I know it's there." He stood a moment, then suddenly dropped into a defensive stance. "It's charging!" Damien didn't know what to do as the image of the soul suddenly seemed to be running toward them. It bust through the trees into the cleaning, underground! Simply stunned by the unexpected subterranean locomotion of the being, Damien tried to jump away just as the owner of the soul burst through the ground beneath them both. he rolled up onto his fet as quickly as a human could, his mind still trying to comprehend what the thing was.

A massive beast, made of sewn together, stinking, and rotting flesh rose up from the pit it had created. It was enormous, yet vaguely human looking, with a head and two large arms. It's fat belly flopped before it, completely hiding any legs it make have had. It was an ancient Melchiaime, and it was starving.

"Run!" Damien shouted.
Clarity. It was coming back slowly. Mithias opened his eyes to find himself in a comfortable room, lying on a table. Dim candle light was bright enough for his whopping headache. He groaned. He tried to remember the last thing that had happened before he was talking to Stein. "Rhyss?" Mithias spoke quietly. His headache was gradually subsiding, but the pain still made it hard to concentrate. Mithias tilted his head to see several vampires in the room with him. "Rhyss. You're alive." Mithias sat up. "Thank you for bringing me here. What happened. What was that thing you were fighting?" Mithias rubbed his head and grit his teeth. Suddenly he gasped with even more recollection. "Oh no! Please forgive me, but I need to get out of here now!" He pushed himself unsteadily off the table and headed for the door. "It's the Terebithia! She is... alive!" Mithias had never acted so insane before. "I can stop her. I need a plane!"
Shikaru. can I assume Rhyss and Mith are back at Kilo Point?
Tyki said
"why would it have to? my goddess will protect us" she says cheerfully, seeming to have the same blind faith as most devout people do. she offers him some rice after a small moment of thought

The man frowns. "No thank you." Was all he could think to say.

After a little while, Damien noticed some souled-being wandering a little closer, its light getting faintly brighter. Perhaps he had been concentrating too hard. Noticeably on edge, he heaved a breath, getting himself ready for en encounter. "Over there." He warned the young woman. "I think something is heading our way. Are you prepared?"
