Mithias awoke, floating in the void that surrounded him. The pain of another death ebbed from him as the incredible healing force compelled his own body together from ashes, atoms, and aerosolized spatter. Somehow, he was still holding Teo's hammer, although it lacked the reality-shattering spark that had transformed it into a weapon of will. The orb of hope was gone. Mithias looked down at the hammer, and the sword still summoned to his other hand and he recalled. He had probably been physically obliterated for better half of the Daemon's death and aftermath. "We can't die, can we Tsukune?" He asked his soulmate. Mithias looked around at the quiet blackness not expecting an answer.

There was a time long ago when he thought he had been dead. He remembered nothing of where he had come from before that. He had simply manifested in Hell's coffee lounge, mug in hand, screaming spirits drank down his throat. Bob laughed. Mithias laughed. Maybe it was still out there somewhere. Faint sparkles of other worlds and stars twinkled in the distance. Yes, the universe was still there. It had been there long before him too, and Mithias hoped he would never see the end of it. First, right now, he would try to find his friends. What he wouldn't give to get back to that crazy hang out of theirs. There would be so many new stories, new faces. Life would go on.

"Drac? ... Teo? Kishin?" Was there a Kishin? Mithias' head was a little fuzzy. It didn't matter however. It didn't look like anyone was around. A big explosion had just happened, after all.
Bedivere... commere. I have a job for you. *ties note to leg*
I don't know how much fun you all are having tearing each other up in the airport, but, unless you are planning anything specific or future-altering, consider where your character is going to end up afterwards. So far, all i know is there's a potential plotline where you all get mysterious invites to a secret council meeting in England/whales/UK/Camelot/Whatever. I know Grey is going to create a Purge scientist character who *could* save Kami... if he escapes this alive. I would like to know what Matthew Stone is doing, and Martin needs an excuse to get to London. Didn't Mithias tell Michael that he was catching a flight to Europe that night? Check some records.
Bedivere is taking Mithias to his rape dungeon.
There was plenty of time to try the "tea" as Bedivere rambled on to Merlin and finally made his proposal. So, in short, Magnus had attempted to initiate this cataclysm that Bedivere so longed for, yet had not been successful. Void's actions also transiently tipped the scales of balance, but rocked them the wrong way, disturbing Bedivere's grip on the United Kingdom. And now, the medieval minded oldblood intended to call a legendary meeting of vampire kind. Supposedly, he wanted Mithias to be a part of it, referencing his tie to Gabriel, one of the often absent sire-kings.

Mithias set down his cup. He knew he was only being offered a choice out of formality, when indeed refusal was out of the question. However, he had no desire to test the oldblood's power. He'd lose. He'd need a lot more information before he could set the proper trap for this dragon, if such thing were to become necessary.

But clearly, Bedivere had his loyalties. He didn't operate alone. He was an organizer, a strategist, a general even... but he was strangely not a leader. Contemplating all of this, as well as the recommendation of turning someone, Mithias finished his tea as well and got up. ... Did the old geezer seriously just say "Camelot?" This had to be seen.

Mithias got in on the right, the driver's seat, and started the engine. "Bedivere, how did... How do you know anything of my bloodline?"

"My dear boy, you've stated you owe a debt to not only I but also Old Gabby."

"Yes, but that doesn't mean I'm of his line."

"Then in such a case, why do you owe him your life?"

"For parrying that blade away from my heart."

"Then why are you here and not at his side?"

Mithias furrowed his brow and shifted into gear. The question stabbed him. After a long moment, he answered only, "He is impossible to follow."

"Is he? Or do you believe he does not consider you to owe him anything, and yet he is not as hospitable as I?"

"We shall see."

"So it would appear I have guessed correctly."

The disturbed silence from the younger was quite affirmative. The black Aston hit the highway, and Mithias spread its wings over the smooth asphalt.

Camelot, Arthur? There was a good 95% chance Bedivere was just another insane, and insanely strong, oldblood. Damnit. Why were they ALL crazy?

Edited.
Omg Bedi, I'm only halfway through and you've got me dozing off. Surely Mithias will have actually died by the time it's over.

That cracked me up.
Omg Kami. He is so dead.
I could join this, but I'm a vampire fan.
I edited my CS.
