When Blood and Silver looked back at where Mithias had been standing, he was already gone. Blood could tell he had just darted off and wasn't far.
Moments later, Mithias locates his fledgling by supernatural sense. Tony is terrified, and some dude in a shiny red suit is there conversing with the pained vampire.
Mithias had exchanged his clothes for freelancer standard issue, black combat fatigue pants, a new shirt, new guns, but he had kept his jacket. He parked a van several meter away off road and got out. The sound of a car door slams as he gets out and walks up briskly. Mithias looked at the truck, the bomb, and everything else and heaved a heavy sigh.
"What happened, Hank?" Mithias knew something bad had gone down to trigger this kind of reaction in Hank.
