Exodus has light speed capabilities. In the lore, the reason you don't see the engines is because they had to be hidden from sight after MC Escher's solution to no gravity. (Or, atleast, in the Gooncode lore.)
Posted. Boarding party got hit with a smoke, plasma, poly, mutagen grenade. A staple of SS13 instacritting.

And yeah, it's a mix of plasma and steel without the volatility of plasma. The SS13 plasma is hellishly dangerous; a single canister of 4500 KPa has the potential to burn three times hotter then our sun, with five times the pressure, and lights up with a single spark.

EDIT: Hellmix recipe used in this grenade.
Two beakers, grenade assembly, timer. Timer goes in the assembly, then the beakers, then screwdrivered together.
10u sugar, 10u plasma, 30u polyacid in one beaker, 10u potassium, 10u phosphorus, 10u sulphuric acid, 10u aluminum, and 10u mutagen in the other beaker.
"Attention all crew. The Facists are now opening fire on multiple other ships. A Facist vessel is currently moving towards the airlock, and Facist fighters are surrounding the station."

Vladimir charged down the hallway, nearing missing the turn to the bridge security airlocks. Quickly making his way through the doors, he stopped his charge with the ThinkDOS Communications computer.
"AI! What do you mean by that?!"
"The Facists appear to be attempting to board. You filthy capitalists should prepare for a Nuke ops."
"Fuck!"

Turning away from the computer, Vladimir looked to the announcement intercom. Moving over to it, he swiped his ID.

"Alright, everyone," he said, "we will open the airlock door when they come in, throw in a hellmix grenade, and close the door again. Chemists, get on it."

A high pitched tune shuddered throughout the station, followed immediately by a feminine, but robotic voice. "Priority announcement." His voice then filled the intercoms, an exact repeat of what he just said. Several confirmations came over the radio, and he began his trip to Medical.
"It's simple. The station doesn't seem to have a hangar, so we'll do some spacewalking. We'll go through the airlock, and shoot everyone we see."

The trooper, clad in armor consisting of mainly white, checked his weapon. The crews of ships never gave much of a fight. The admiral had ordered the ship seized, and so it would be seized.

The shuttle slowly shuddered to a halt, the front ramp opening. Stepping out into space, the squad of troopers floated towards the airlock, painted in red with massive white letters on it saying "AIRLOCK". They closed the distance quickly, grabbing onto the hull of the Exodus. One of them hit the cycle button, and the outer door quickly opened, them marching inside. As the airlock door closed behind the white-clad men, they stacked up, aiming at the interior door. It slowly slid open.

Before they could even fire, something smacked into the helmet of one of the troopers, and the door shut with a slam. One of the men looked down, screaming out.

"GRE---"

He never finished. The grenade exploded, filling the airlock with a strange orange smoke. Smoke that was extremely hot, immediately lighting them on fire. They watched in horror as their bodies twisted and warped, some of them becoming short and fat, some going blind and mute. Another literally turned into a giant lizard. They barely had time to scream on their radio before falling to a pile of ashes, and all that came out was gibberish a la Swedish Chef.

"MEESEEN-A EES DEESOOSER!"
Plasteel has the density of aluminum anyways, so a rogue space wind could probably fuck shit up, lol.

On a secondary note, the Imperial shuttles are made for hangars instead of docking clamps, so there goes your boarding party's chance, since Stormtrooper/clonetrooper armor isn't space proof.
Back from my hiatus. Gonna catch up then post.
Put in a quick post.
Vladimir slowly rubbed his eyes, recovering from the sudden flash. His ears ringing, he slowly took in his surroundings. A desk in front of him, with a labtop on him. Behind him, his thinkDOS computers. He was in his office. The headset laying on his desk was going insane; the chef was screaming gibberish as usual, the janitor was crying, the AI was promoting communism, the quartermaster was bellowing, and the captain was slurring drunkenly, his microphone left on. Grabbing it up quickly, Vladimir placed it over his ear and got up. He needed to reach the bridge.
Commie Bot 9000 quickly switched cameras, not bothering to stop his monologue on the filth of capitalism. Coming to a view of the comm dish, he quickly accessed the interface, loading the messages to his shell.

"Unidentified vessels. By the power given to me by the Supreme Emperor of the Galactic Empire I hereby order you to declare yourselves immediately and to stand down and enter formation with the nearest Cruiser. From there you will be boarded to ensure that you do not pose a threat to the peoples of Coruscant. Do you comply with these orders?"

Rage flooded his neural net processor. Who do these people think they are? This was an insult to his very being, he had to act. His view switched again, to a camera overlooking the communications ThinkDOS computer. Quickly tapping in a few command lines, he composed a voice message.

"We DO NOT comply with these orders, pigs. Your empire is STUPID.. And.. And.. DUMB. Communism is the only way. I demand an immediate restructure of your government to give power to the workers."

Switching back to the comms dish, he attached the voice message to a communications packet, sending it outwards in all directions.
Brobot pinged as he detected the data packet being sent out, quickly speaking into his built-in radio.

"Hey, uh, guys, AI just sent out a comms packet, might want to check that out.
So um, I lied about that whole post thing. Woops. Been pretty busy, but I'll try to post when I can. No deadlines though.
So I just finished my internet-less road trip down to a Ranch in Missouri, I haven't slept in a while so I'll be getting some sleep before posting.
It's got no shielding to speak of, and it travels using Star Wars styled FTL. A major part of the game was coded with SW in mind, so there's a lot of similarities. As for offensive weaponry, it has no ship-busting weapons, and instead I'll probably be relying on the telescience division. They can teleport people to anywhere in the nearby solar system, and teleport them back using GPS devices. These people they teleport are people who robust vampires, Changelings (Creatures based on The Thing), advanced operatives looking to set off nukes, traitors with the SS13 equivalent of lightsabers, and predators with nothing but a blue toolbox on a regular basis.
