I would die for a Charlie Puth and Lewis Capaldi collab song.

My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

Jennifer

"Hey! Don't you walk away from me!" Jennifer rushed out of the bedroom after Nathan, her mood shifting just as rapidly as his. "I did this for us!" she added, using the knife to point at her wounded hand that a minute ago he was gently bandaging. Her actions may have come off as a bit over-the-top, but she was simply trying to get the point across.

"What's wrong with you anyway?" she asked as she used the back of her healthy hand to give him a quick shove, knife still being held in a tight grip inches away from his face. "One second you're nice and friendly with me and the next you turn ice cold. Either treat me like you're actually interested in me, or quit making little suggestive side comments. I know I'm basically your job, but I refuse to have someone treat me like a rag doll for their own amusement!" Jennifer was breathing a little bit hard at this point, her cheeks slightly flushed. She didn't know whether Nathan #2 was in the same room as them, listening in on their argument, but she didn't care. In fact, she would have welcomed him as a potential witness because she was pretty sure that Nathan #2 would side with her if it came down to that. Sometimes people liked to play games, but not Jennifer. She found Nathan to be very attractive, but she would not waste her breath on him if he didn't feel the same way towards her.
Sounds good. I'll post something today to stall.

Thunder's post was awesome, it definitely has the wow factor.
@AcerRo Well I don't want to screw up your plans so if it's okay with @Xandrya, I'd say just go for it. I mean they're not technically gone yet.

Yeah, I'm curious as to what you have in mind.
Mhmm. Have fun with the long read.
Same here.
He will, but not just yet. I'll probably flesh this out until another character is able to meet with Olivia.
Olivia Henley

She locked the door behind her, breathing a sigh of relief now that there was a barrier between her and the Biters. She was safe now, or so she thought...

"What the fuck are you doing here?" demanded a voice from somewhere within the dark room. Olivia was startled, but she turned around to see who had such an unwelcoming tone.

"I'm just trying to find a safe place, I'm sorry," she added. She wasn't really sorry, but she didn't want to make matters worse. Whoever was in the room with her may have a weapon as well, and she wasn't taking any chances. Olivia heard footsteps approaching her, and a few seconds later, the face of a tall man came into view. From his appearance alone, she didn't know whether to feel relief or worry even more

"Hm, I suppose that's fine," he added in a more friendly manner, "My name's Scott, come on back."

Scott motioned for Olivia to follow him, and although she was a bit wary, she followed him to where she assumed the backroom would be. They went through a door and up a set of stairs that was immediately off to the right. It was poorly lit, but given the circumstances, it could have been much worse. They reached the top of the stairs in silence, and Scott guided her into one of the rooms from the hallway. When they entered, Olivia noticed a woman sleeping on an old mattress. Her quick breathing pattern should have been the first warning, but Olivia didn't pick up on it. She turned around to ask Scott who the woman was, and that's when saw him standing in front of the locked door, a mischievous grin plastered on his face.
@Mordon

Oh I know that technique all too well. A lot of my characters' personalities reflect mine as I find it easier to relate to them and "get in their head". It's a little trademark of mine, I supposed.

I'll post something tomorrow and have "fun" with some NPCs >:)

I think we may need more than one post to properly explain what's going on. Maybe one if we make it a collab but I know not everyone likes doing that.

Hm, I guess you're right. I don't mind working on a collab, but fair warning: I'd leave the burden of typing it up to you. Either or, doesn't matter.

Should be fun! Hopefully me and Double can get our characters out of the shit we've gotten them into alive. As he pointed out it would be very awkward if we were the first to have to make new characters, haha.

I haven't read any of it, not because I'm uninterested, but because like my character, I'd rather not know what happens to other people before meeting them so it doesn't reflect in my posts. I hope that makes sense...

But, I would love it if Olivia can get into some crazy shit like them two right off the bat.

(It'll be fun playing this as Olivia is my real name.)
